I think he was saying that a gay boycott of Chick Fil-hate wouldn't really have an impact as they're not catering to a gay demo.

A gay boycott of Fire Island however would indeed cause greater economic harm as we are their bread and butter.

Either way, they should have thought of that before getting into bed with Cruz.

Ever since reading "Dancer from the Dance as a young (very young) gay in the 1980's (very late 1980's) I have wanted to visit Fire Island. Does this mean it has to join Jamaica on my list of no visit? It always seemed so exciting and bohemian to someone this side of the pond with only tacky clubs to visit!! Does anyone have (printable) memories of the place to keep me going?!!
