Me and my boyfriend watched this tonight and could not stop laughing at the house maid, Zielo or something like that. I couldn't quite catch it, but saw it in the credits.
But yes, Jeff is CRAZY! He has some SERIOUS issues.
The best part of the whole show tonight...during the blessing scene...Jeff asks the maid...
"Would you like to say anything?
to which she says
"Bless everybody and everybody is good with me..."
LOVE her.

I like how the maid is wearing Hospital scrubs when she is moving the furniture and how he gives her the privelege of holding the lighter. Also he makes her sit at the head of the table since she is the woman of the house.
And if I was in that blessing 'moment' there is no way that I would have been able to keep a straight face.
Edit: Her name is Zoila.

Yes, being the reality junkie that I am, I love this show. Bravo excels at finding eccentric and interesting people for their shows (i.e., Blow Out, Work Out). Jeff Lewis is another one of these. His misfit employees are funny too. I love when Jeff says that he's heading for the nut house, and his assistant agrees. Bravo, Bravo!

Love this show! Zoila is pretty much my hero.
I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

What drives me crazy about these shows is that the central "characer" will say on-camera, "Yes, I'm difficult, exacting, demanding, and a pain in the ass," as though admitting it out loud makes it OK to treat people like sh*t.
While I get sucked into these shows as much as the next person, it feels like we're giving people license to be assh*les by turning a camera on them and tuning in to watch the manufactured drama unfold.

I need my own show and they can call it "Out". Just OUT.

They do show a fair ammount of home improvment. But really the star of that show is his assistant Jenni,

I love this show. I think he's way worse than the guy from BlowOut.

Jonathan (from Blow Out) did show he had a caring, generous side from time to time. I have yet to see Jeff do or say anything that wasn't completely self-absorbed. Of course, I've only seen the half-hour preview and the first episode, so there's still hope....
The guy on the show who used to date Jeff....I can't remember his name....looked so completely stressed and jumpy the whole time he was on camera.

HE's nuts.
But his Julia Louis Dreyfus assistant is a riot.

RobbO, I totally agree.
What is this guy's claim to fame? He's self absorbed, looks absolutely ridiculous with his botoxed lips, doesn't know how to treat people, and comes off as some kind of freak.

And I can't stand looking at Jeff - he looks like Lurch from the Addams Family. At least Jonathan was charming and ... hot.

It's weird, but my boss is a lot like Jeff and I love her. I think I understand him (as I do my boss). Even though he is odd, he is caring and meticulous. Jenni said in the first episode that he is a genius in addition to being crazy. Clearly he has a pull that many people are drawn to and respect. I dig him and think he is absolutely sexy, although I don't imagine he could ever slow down long enough to engage in intimacy. I'd like to ask the ex-boyfriend.
I love all of the new-age stuff he engages in to try to balance himself when he just steamrolls over people all the time. I think he is sweet in an odd way. I find him endearing. When he does express appreciation it is really sincere and when he has one of those laughing fits, he looks like a little kid and is really heartwarming. Sorry, I love me some Jeff.

I tried to watch this last week, but the guy is slime. I don't think he deserves to have a show. A lot of people are OCD and not complete self-absorbed collagen-lipped a**holes. I got nauseous and changed the channel.

Mister Matt, my first reaction to seeing him was, "what's with those collagen injected lips?"
I kind of like watching what he does with the places he renovates, but he's a little too much to take.

Anyone watching Season 2? It seems more staged this season. Also are Jeff and his ex-bf Ryan wearing wigs? There hair always looks oddly plastic and always different. One of those things that make you go hmm....
