I'm so bored that I actually helped my mom clean out her closet today. That's really sad.
The heat is making me so tired.
(I feel like someone said that already. Oh well)
Same with me, I actually just took a nap. I feel like I'm melting.
My friend and I were supposed to go to Six Flags today, but we couldn't because of the heat. bleh
I went to Six Flags yesterday. It was...98 degrees at 10:30 in the morning and only got hotter.
Of course, there wasn't a lot of people there at all, and those who were there went into the water park. So, my friend and I did all of the rides between 11 and 4ish, and when it started to get cooler, we went into the water park to avoid the huge crowds.
Of course, during the walk from the Superman to the water park, I almost fainted from the heat (It made me have a hard time breathing), but I think I got into the water in time.
OOo! And I did that...Sky Coaster...thing.
And....I had the wierdest dream ever. The, erm, highlight of that dream: Manoel was a dark green dusty radiator, while he claimed to be a "LeaGear" lawnmower.
O_O I was frightened. The entire thing was so strange.
The children I babysit were the most uncooperative little brats today. Totally indignant, like I wasn't even there. I was so tired when I got done with them that I got on the downtown train instead of the uptown by mistake!
I need to shower, because I smell like chlorine, but I'm too hot/tired to move.
You must have been tired.
The Spelling Bee commercial was just on TV. Jesse Tyler Ferguson was eating bubbles. It was very cute.
I think that's only happened to me one other time before.
so my aunt send me this thing jus tnow that says "Optical Illusions." There are a few, but after the third one it freakin' popped out and screamed at me. I have my speaker sup really loud because I have music on.

dtl- that's happened to me on more than 1 occasion. And my neighbor is the one who always sends them to me because she knows I freak out.
And, I always fall for it.

uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that! I hope she gets better soon.
Yesterday, my tutor went to her doctors appoint for her check-up...she's 29 weeks pregnant. The doctor looked at her and said- go to the hospital- NOW! She was almost fully dialated.
Less than 1 hour later, she had a 2 pound 8 ounce baby girl (Lhana)- the baby is in an incubator but thankfully doing ok.
She had a virus that is a cold for most people, but for 1 in 100,000 it turns into viral meningitis. She is the 1.
They said it MAY not be as bad as they thought it was, so she might be able to go home tomorrow.
I feel horrible because, well, I don't agree with her a lot of times, and I can be a big b*tch about it.
dtl, I hope she gets well soon.

*Waves to soapy!*
I'm addicted to Full House reruns and I wouldn't be surprised if I get addicted to 7th Haven reruns.
Soap- I've missed you!
I am so exhausted and it's not even halfway through the week.
My mom had spinal meningitis several years ago. It was so, so scary.
I have the number to call ehr at the hospital, but I'm almost afraid to hear how she sounds. She seemed fine when I saw her on Saturday.
I've been running errands and swimming all day. Now, I'm realxing and listening to Michael Buble.

dtl- she's been ill for a while now?
I do hope she gets well soon!
She thought she just had a bad cold/the flu. My dad called me a few minutes ago to tell me she's been in the hospital since last night.
Thanks.

Today in sociology class we were talking about George Herbert Mead's theory of life stages.
To make a long story short- one of the stages is "play and games"- it talks about how kids are 'one-minded'
He told us a story. His wife is a kindergarden teacher and every 2 months the school has a 'party' at McDonalds and 50% of the money made goes to the school.
She (Mrs. Berhart- my teachers wife) always has gone to these parties. One day- she couldn't go and she said to her kids "I won't be coming to McDonalds tonight; I will see you all tomorrow. Have a good time!"
One kid raised his hand and said "Mrs. Berhart, your mommy won't let you go?"
I thought that was really cute. Kids see, say, their teacher as "Their teacher" and nothing else. She doesn't have a life besides being "Their teacher."
So cute!
Aww, I'm reading Angela's Ashes now and it has some one minded kid point of veiw moments. I stop and say "aww" but, on the next page someone dies. So I've deicded to put the book down for a while.
I'm watching Proof. Jake Gyllenhaal is adooorable. It's a great part for him, with that perpetual innocent sweetness of his. Gwyneth Paltrow is surprisingly good; I underestimated her, but I would give very much to see Mary Louise Parker play this role.

Take me away from BWW!
I need to read
chapter 6: sexuality and society
chapter 7: Social control and Deviance
I skipped work today to go shopping with my mom. I got lots of new clothes. Now I'm watching Pooh's Heffalump Movie, it's way too cute.
