re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Em,
Sorry to hear about your wrist!

And, is it wrong to be terribly bummed that I couldn't come in to see the last shows of "Barefoot." Some members of the group I came with in April went back this weekend--and so far have gotten HUGS from Mister Wilson at the stage door.

*feels sorry for self and curses austerity budget*
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

The giant crayon doesn't write. It's inflatable. (That sounds pretty weird.)

I just saw "The Da Vinci Code" and ate too many sour patch kids, so now my tummy hurts.

My mother is acting like a five year old. I'm just going to pretend that she's mad about something and taking it out on me because if not, well...she should be ashamed of herself.

Isn't it annoying and frusrating when parents yell at you for no reason and tell you you're acting like a child, when it's really your parents who are acting like children? Sometimes I wish I had a recorder to record every argument with my father.

This is something so trivial that it is almost laughable. I'm hoping tomorrow once she calms down and realizes what a nutjob she's being, she'll apologize.

I'm babysitting right now. The kiddies are in bed, so I'm quite bored. What I really want to do is sleep, but I can't.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

The talk didn't happen. Thank God. My mom went to bed early without saying anything about the discussion she intended to have with me. I didn't want to bring it up considering I didn't want to have it in the first place, but it was weird that she didn't mention anything about it.

I can't stop yawning, but it's not because I'm tired, so it's just annoying.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

My mom is picking fights with me about the most mundane things; then she says *I* started the fight. She doesn't think I can handle anything. Maybe I wouldn't be such a bother to her if she didn't assume I was stupid and didn't treat me like some kind of joke.

My friend is giving me an iPod Nano for my birthday.

He said that his father bought it for him, but he already had one. Still, though, that's a damn expensive gift.

That's awesome, though! It's tomorrow, right?

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

So in honour of the long weekend, I had a party at my house last night. I went to bed at 10:30 a.m., now I'm up and getting ready for my friends to come back tonight. I'm going to be so tired at work on Tuesday.

Does it make me a horrible person for wanting to go along with my sister and parents to her college orientation just because there's a show I like being put on in the city at the time? I'm seriously considering going with them just for that reason.

Bratty children are playing ball in the hallway outside my apartment right now, screaming and banging against my door. Little beasts. I despise children.

I just went to home depot because it's tax free day for *some* items for hurricane preporation.

I bought 3 things. Were any of them on sale? Nope- my luck!
And you wouldn't believe how crowded it is! It was on the news this morning and it opened at 6 and it was crowded then too!

I just wrote thank you letters to the people that sent me graduation gifts! re: Banal details of life! Part 3
I already sent some out last week that were on time...these are belated. lol

Orange, you supporting you sister YET, you’re getting to see a show. Your parents get to make both of you more educated on one trip. I'm sure they'd feel accomplished. GO FOR IT!
I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I was just looking at my buddy list on AIM and I have nearly 200 people on there.
I was looking through the screen names and some of them, I have absolutely no idea who they are.
I know I've talked to most of them before but some I just have no idea. I'm thinking about deleting them but I sorta want to know who they are.
