Banal details of life! Part 3

Thanks, but I've got the babysitting signs thing pretty much covered. My building complex, an on-campus nursery school where I worked during the year, doctors offices...

And I'm fully taking advantage of networking. I know a lot of kids from last summer/where I worked during the year. I'm also emailing some parents and asking them to pass along my info to anyone they know who might need someone.
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

It must just be the year? Last year, EVERYONE was hiring around this time.

Good luck with babysitting. You may have to work in retail or something if that doesn't pan out.

Banal details of life! Part 3

I need a steady job. I have a boring, back aching, crazy people temp job but it will be over next week. Hopefully the temp agency can find me something that can last me the rest of the summer. They don't seem to be doing too well at the moment...

My grandma is pissed off at me for a really silly reason. Or maybe it's just me that's being silly...

I am very happy right now because today at rehearsal a cute guy was flirting with me and then another cute guy gave me a ride home and we had a lovely conversation in the car. Yay. I love summer theatre.

Why do I feel like I have less free time now than I did during the school year? Banal details of life! Part 3
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time." --NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms

I just missed my bus. What the hell?

...and my dad just started screaming at me when I asked him for a ride.

Banal details of life! Part 3

My iPod and iTunes decided to poop out on me. I go this weird thing about having to update my iPod (it's a little over three years old) and everything got deleted, then I had to reinstall iTunes (I'm on a Dell).

I am not happy.

And yes, it's the O-Town guy. Some of the songs are pretty good.

Banal details of life! Part 3

I was able to sleep for 8 hours last night, but I kept waking up way before my alarm. I woke up after 6 hours, and went back to sleep, and then again another half hour or so before my alarm. I had a really weird dream, but I guess my body is also getting used to less sleep, since I haven't gotten more than 7 hours in over a week.

Banal details of life! Part 3

Again, I didn't sleep at all last night. I've been trying to work out a tough chapter in my book (A chapter I've already written three times, mind you) but I'm failing.

I'm glad you're getting sleep, Em.

We were painting the living room, and they somehow got lost when we pulled all of the furniture out.

I don't want to go back to classes, just being around school, working in my lab, etc.

Banal details of life! Part 3

Lab. Ew. lol.

I have to go to rehearsal in an hour and a half... and should be getting ready instead of wasting away online... but I love it!

Judging Amy starts in like twenty minutes.. and I told myself when I got back from watching Third Watch I was going to spend this hour typing some stuff I wrote while watching TV. But that's not happening.
