I know, I really shouldn't. It's just a matter of adjusting to college, because I know that I would have received a definite A if I were to have turned in any of those papers in high school.
I really did want (and ultimately obtained) an A on the first of three essays for my required Writing the Essay class, though, considering I poured my little angsty heart into it for eight pages. Yay.

It's really cold here and my heat isn't working. I'm tempted to put on gloves, but then I can't use my laptop. I need a pair of those glove/mitten combos.
I'm hungry, but getting food requires going back out into the cold.

My 3 week baby cousin, Julie, is absolutely adorable!
My cousin (her mom) sends me pictures like 3-4 times a week. 
I won't get to see her until December though...

One of my very favorite coworkers quit today... and now one of my *other* favorite coworkers may quit as a result.
Also, on a more shallow note, Anthony Rapp is actually speaking at a university right here in South Carolina in about... 10 minutes, but I can't goooooooo.
So yeah... I'm having a whiny day.

I'm so frustrated right now. My school just updated their online databases with the classes for next semester. Up until now, I was really excited by a lot of classes that sounded really cool, but now looking at them, they all conflict with each other and/or are ALL offered at. the. same. time.
I hate this.

Posted: 10/26/06 at 10:00amI won't know my schedule until December. Most of the classes are picked for me, but I get to chose one elective, I don't know when or how I'm supposed to do that. They've also got to figure out my placement. I guess that's what my class is that I get added to on Tuesday, then I'll be taking eight courses.

My midterm was... okay. Not great, but not bad. I'm predicting a B... which in all honesty, I'd be pretty content with. I honestly don't think I've taken a more boring class ever.
I think I'm kind of addicted to hot Chai tea lattes and this little pushcart that sells Indian food by my dorm.

All this needs to be done...well, today. I took an 11-hour work shift on Saturday for some comparitive relaxation. Something is clearly wrong here.
