I absolutely despise this man and his hatred, probably even more so since I've grown up in Kansas. This is just absolutely disgusting--I can't even begin to wrap my mind around it. I think I'm just not genetically programed to hate people to that extent.
It makes my heart hurt just thinking about it.

Here I go again.
Fred Phelps is a pathetic little hate monger who has lost his way in his search for God.
Gay people and their families particularly those who lost family and extended family to aids have had to deal with Mister Phelps and his surly band for years.
I think it is, in an odd way, wonderful that he is noticed by mainstream America and that his actions might, maybe, possibly could make other hate mongers look into their own lost hearts and see the emptiness that they call faith.
Fred Phelps has condemned himself to dwell in darkness, and he is taking his family with him to drink the Kool Aid. Perhaps he is irredeemable. He may even have some guarantees under the First Amendment. But he may inadvertently help to truly save others who have lost their way.
In a practical sense, shouldn't all those grandchildren that Mister Phelps drags around to pad out his entourage be in school someplace?

According to the earlier post it has something to do with what happened yesterday being some kind of retribution for Americans killing Iraqis, I think.
The quote made no sense, but since there is no rational reason for someone to do this I suppose you'd have to as crazy as phelpsy to understand it.
Like I said earlier though, hopefully this will bring some media attention to this depsicable creature who has been "crashing" funerals for many many years.

(I have no idea of any of them were) Is it because the victims weren't white? I am honestly so confused. I'd be angry, but I can't waste evergy on people who are so pathetic. I pity and feel sorry for these idiots more than anything. Wow.

No, I think it's just because God doesn't like America's ever-growing tolerance of gay people. Which, of course, makes perfect sense to me. I don't know why any of you enablers don't get it.
They're all such angry people. It's very, very sad. But not as sad as what happened at Virginia Tech.

They just picket and protest at memorials for any tragedy that happens in America, because they feel that naything bad that happens in America is God punishing America for tolerance.
As sad as it is to say, this announcement doesn't surprise me even a little. I've gotten use to them spewing their hate in times of tragedy. Sick people.

I may not be the best one to answer this, seeing as I don't remember the last time I was in a church, but I believe Jesus does forgive, even the worst people.
