fred won't have to ban abortions. one look from him and people will be too scared to have sex without employing multiple methods of contraception.
as far as gay marriage, fred will not ban it, he'll merely decree that both members of any same-sex couple who want to get married have to give him a mouth hug first and drown them in a sea of thomp-seed.
