Full House" Star Jodie Sweetin Admits Meth Problem

Jodie Sweeten, who played Stephanie Tanner on the long-running, popular sitcom, was apparently addicted to Meth for while.

"Former Full House cutie Jodie Sweetin has earned herself a spot on the lengthy list of child stars gone wrong.

During an appearance on Good Morning America Wednesday, Sweetin, who played middle sister Stephanie Tanner on the hit sitcom, revealed that she is a recovering meth addict and once battled a daily drug habit.

The ex-actress, 24, said she had trouble figuring out how to adjust to a regular childhood existence after Full House ended its run in 1995."

I don't have anything particularly witty to say about this. I am just glad she got help and is doing better.

Full House is one of my guilty pleasures. Good for her! I hope she stays on the clean path. I always thought she was funny.

Haha, yeah. Well first of all, in case you didn't notice, they never explained what happened to her on the show. It became a running gag that she was "Judy Winslow, the girl who went upstairs and never came down." I think her real name is Jamie Foxworth...

I remember when Jodi Sweetin got married; there were wedding pictures online and she looked so happy. It seemed like she was doing really well. This is sad news, but I'm glad she was able to get help and I hope her recovery continues to go well.

Jamie Foxworth got fired because her parents that they raise her salary and the producers didn't want to pay that much money for a thirteen year old.

And I thought Jodi was older than twenty four.

Candace Cameron, who played DJ, used to live down the street from me, when her husband hockey player Val Bure played for the Flames. I used to see her walking with her kids all the time, and was always very sweet and said hi to me (well thats not unusual in my hometown).

Jamie Foxworth was JUST on Oprah last week or the week before. She talked about 'the biggest mistake of her life' - going into porn. She looked good and nothing like she did when she was younger.

In spite of Luscious's little joke, I guess you could call it, methamphetamine addiction is one of the more pernicious forms of the disease. Treatment experts have yet to even design an effective protocol because the super-speed radically alters brain chemistry and it's almost impossible for a recovering meth addict not to relapse.
