22. I was so in love with him and we'd had such a rocky relationship. When it was good, it was beyond amazing and when it was bad, it was absolutely evil... But I loved him very much and we remain friends to this day. It's funny, we make better friends than we ever did a couple.

Fourth grade, so I was 10: some older kids asked if I knew what it was, and not wanting to dissapoint them, I said I did. I didn't. Then they challenged me, so I said that my younger brother had sex with a Barbie doll. The kids thought it was ridiculously funny, so they spread the story around. Eventually, a teacher found out and I got in major trouble, so my parents had to give the "talk" a year earlier so I would know what I said.
(Pippin, I just saw the "Comeback" last month, so I loooove your Valerie Cherish avatar. To those who missed "The Comeback", get the first season DVD. It was an HBO show starring Lisa Kudrow. Totally fabulous show.).

8 years old. The put me on HEADGEAR. UGH. Unhappy memroies. Luckily I only had to wear it for a month.

13. My mom and I were going to see Wicked and have lunch in the city and just have an overall great day, and then my uncle and cousin arrived from Seattle a week early and decided to come with us. They didn't end up getting tickets, but they still accompanied us to the theatre, went and saw War of the Worlds while we saw the show, and met up with us at the stage door afterward. I know it doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but that uncle has always just made me extremely uncomfortable (like, to the point where I can only spend an hour or so with him before I feel like I'm about the cry - he just feels a constant need to belittle me and pick on my every attribute in this mean-spirited way) and having him at my side the entire day put a huge damper on the festivities.
Plus, Wicked was underwhelming.

13. I remember picking up a copy of the first book and second book and thinking: "It's so big and heavy! No one's going to read these!" Finally, when Prisoner of Azkaban came out, I jumped on the bandwagon.

9- 5th grade musical. It was one of those lame Hal Leonard shows- I think it was "The Legend of Polar Mountain, and I was the narrarator, Old Yupik. Good times...

Um...very young. Probably about 5 or 6. I remember drinking too much of that crappy not-juice kool-aid stuff with the twisty tops, and getting sick in the pool.

16 was my first paying job. I did voluntary work when I was 14 and 15 but as soon as I was allowed to operate tills, I got a job that gave me money.

23. My parents were the type to give you things and then take it away as punishment... or even worse, they'd throw it in your face that they did *fill in the blank* for you. I refused to get a car until I could fully afford to buy one for myself.
