Um, 13, backstage at 'The Wizard Of Oz'. And it failed, 'cos as soon as it actually sank in we'd have to KISS, everyone shouted "EWWW!" and we played something else instead.

For as long as I can remember. I live 35 minutes outside the city and growing up, my grandfather worked for the NY Daily News. I was in the city all the time. When I was 15, I was allowed to start going alone.

ORIGINAL ANSWER:
never got my ears peirced, but when i was 10 i almost gave into peer pressure when one of my friends showed up to the bus stop with a peirced ear. i was also born with a naturally occuring hole the size of a peircing on the crus helicis part of the ear.

I don't love or hate Patti lupone, but I really started respecting her work when I was about 19.

I discovered Sondheim at the age of 16. I was a late-bloomer. I was home alone one evening, channel surfing, and I landed on SWEENEY TODD Live from San Francisco Symphony (George Hearn and Patti LuPone). The black-clad giant ensemble were screaming the opening number. I froze in-place and literally said outloud: "What. Is. This?" I sat transfixed for the entire performance... my head a-splode. I didn't know musical theatre could sound and look like THAT.

9, it was a toy story toy of sid's mutant 'baby face' (the doll head spiderish...thing). I bought it at walmart. I was initailly 5 cents short, i was humiliated and so to compensate i gave the cashier a DIME thinking 'ha, i showed her...'.

I think about 12, when I went to the movies with my friends. We saw Man of the House, which is was an awful movie, so we eventually stopped paying attention to the movie and just talked (we were the only ones in the theatre, so we weren't disturbing anyone).
