Last night I genuinely laughed several times at the show, mostly during the first part. Jane Lynch's line about turning 30 was great.

I've also developed a crush on the disabled boy. Puck is still my numero uno, though.

I still maintain the tone is inconsistent and all over the place, but at least the the "bum bum bum" music lets us know the show is whimsical, and the dark, chimey music tells us something ominous is afoot.

my favorite bit of Jane's is her making fun of Will's hair "at home perm kit" was hilarious!

Yes, the at home perm line got me too.

I have to say that I am really not loving the Will/Emma/Ken/Terri storyline, but I still love the show. I mean, Will is our hero and he's torn between two rather unlikable women. But no show is perfect (except Freaks and Geeks) so I'll take the bad with the good.
And there is a lot of good on this show. Jane Lynch is flawless.

The journal entry was hysterical! The scene with Rachel and Quinn by the lockers was really nice, and I'll admit, gave me a case of the old misty eye.

The thing I want to know is why Quinn and the cheerleaders are always wearing their cheerleading uniforms, but everyone else wears whatever.

I'm hoping they'll put Quinn in some cute maternity clothes soon. I'm getting a bit bored with the Cherrio costumes in EVERY episode.

well that is supposed to be part of the farce, but yeah it gets annoying, that and her hair is exactly the same everyday. I WISH i could get my hair to behave like that lol.

As much as I've never had use for the Quinn character, I hope she destroys Terri's life.

I assume the the constant cheerleader outfits are part of this heightened reality they are attempting, but it would make more sense to have all the archetypes dress in various guises than just one group.

One of the biggest problems is that EVERYONE is all quirky to the gills, except for Matthew Morrison. And while I'm sure some will argue that he's supposed to be playing the straight man to all these loonies, but I think that having him being the only sane one (to a degree, because he is married to Terri after all and can't see through anyone's BS until he gets a life lesson) is part of why I think the heightened reality doesn't work.

It's been a long time since I've been in HS, but the cheerleaders always wore their uniforms during the season, all day. I have not thought that as odd at all on the show.

There are still flaws and I wish it was not an hour, but this show really does charm me. There may be flaws in the writing, but I think the cast is uniformly (hee!) great. Jane Lynch is delish!

But only on game days, right? At least that's how it was at my school.

Phyllis when I was in HS we wore our uniforms on game days only to school. Same when I was a cheerleading coach - the girls wore uniforms on days there was a game.

I suppose, prs, but it still doesnt bother me at all...it's just another step into the stereotype. Wearing your uniform as a sheild of pride makes sense for those girls.

when i was in HS on fridays the cheerleaders wore the uniforms and the players had to dress up and wear a tie.

Yes, as much as I love Will, his naive-ness does get grating sometimes. I just sit there, raise an eyebrow and go "really?". I am also getting annoyed with the every episode arch of someone telling him and him realizing again that he is doing it more for him then the kids. Ok, we got the message.

As much as she annoys me, I like the character progression of Rachel in this episode.

I like the cartoonish world these people live in, even their exaggerated personalities, which is odd, because I often hate that kind of thing.

Rachel just reminds me of Tracy Flick in Election...annoying but lovable.

So do we think Quinn will miscarry or decide to keep the baby? Really, how stupid or naiive is Will? Every man touches his wife's belly when she is pregnant to feel the baby move or kick. How long before he realizes that she is carrying a pillow? Let's face it, it worked on Desperate Housewives because Bree's hubby was in on the charade. This plot line is really annoying me!

Yeah, the cheerleaders at my high school also wore their uniforms on Fridays during the football season, and the football players wore button down shirts and ties.

I also hope that somehow Quinn sabotages Terri. I guess she was only entertaining last night because of her giving the drugs to the kids.

I definintely am having a difficult time liking Rachel because she is way too much like someone I dislike now. And go figure that I had a nightmare last night that this person was chasing me through a movie theater.

I wore my cheerleader uniform on Friday's (game night) and Spirit days. The football team wore suits. Go Whirlies!

Sue wants EVERYONE to know who her cheerleaders are and that she/they rule the school, hence wearing them everyday.

While I enjoy the show, they need to shorten their story arcs and give Jane Lynch more screen time.

I just realized their names rhyme. Quinn and Finn.

There is a weatherman here who's name is Aaron and his wife is Sharon. And my dad was Jerry and my mom was Sherry.
