As a reaction to the Boy Scouts' acceptance of openly gay scouts, a pastor in Georgia evicted them from his premises, where that troop had met for 68 years. Happily, another local church welcomed the troop.

Yes, a Catholic church in the suburbs of Chicago did the same thing.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine from high school, who is still actively involved in Scouting as a leader, found this from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting:

For the time being they are stating that this policy change from the BSA is not in conflict with the Church's teachings, as abstinence is still being promoted as a goal of each boy who is a Scout.

why would anyone who is LGBT care what the catholic church thinks? these people are still shielding pederasts from secular law. you may rest assured they have nothing to tell you about morality.
