So I was sick for the last almost 2 weeks with a really bad cold/cough--and I'm still coughing, but just a little now. When I was at my sickest, I would sometimes lose my voice completely (never had happened before), but over the last week and a half, I've been recovering and have gotten my voice back. I still have no falsetto right now... I've been back to almost 100% for the last 4 days... is it normal for me to still not have *any* of my falsetto back?

Lol I had whistle tones until I was about 16, and then just lost them. I still have a falsetto, but I want my whistle tones back! (not that I'd ever use them, but still...)

Alright--I'm pretty sure it's safe to say it isn't puberty that's making this happen. My voice changed about 5 years ago... I'm asking is it normal to not have falsetto for several days after having been sick?

Sometimes sickness changes your voice.
If you had completely lost your voice, then yes, it is normal to get your regular voice back before you falsetto. It's happened to me before, at least.

Sorry i was being silly- it could be a temporary thing, it could last a while or it could be permanent. Maybe a visit to the doctor is in order.

So I've heard. I'm sure it's lovely but I'm looking for something with a little more room.
