I was just discussing this with my cousins. They couldn't believe I'd never heard of Gidget. I still don't get it. Who would name their child Gidget?

If I recall, Moondoggie, or someone with him, named her Gidget, after a "girl midget"

Or, I could just be very, very confused. It was a long time ago.
