Oh, I had such a crush on Jess.

Kelly Bishop deserves and Emmy nom, too. She's one of the best things about the show (and the show is pretty great to begin with).

Man I love Jess. He needs to break up with Alexis Bledel and be with ME re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

I actually don't particularly care for Kelly in the show. And it's not just the character. I respect her for her theatre credits, especially chorus line, but she just doesn't really wow me in this.

Really? I think she's hysterical.

And back off, Ashley! He's mine!

Yeah. I don't know what it is. Some of her acting feels so... fake to me.

You wanna take this outside? I've always loved him. Even when everyone was against him, I've stood by him. re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread But that Logan ain't so bad to look at either.

I'm very much looking forward to tonight's premeire.

Gilmore Girls is easily my favorite show on TV right now.

Ashley, I miss your adorable Sutton avatar. re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

I love Kelly and her choices nail the character exactly in my mind. There is nothing better than watching as she and Lauren sit at the table and don't speak to each other. It is both the funniest and saddest (not to mention most real) time on tv.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

Seven hours and twenty minutes to go...

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Hooray for Gilmore Girls! It's going to be a late night for me tonight. I have school tonight so I have to watch after that, but there's no way I'm waiting until tomorrow to find out what happens.

I'm with Kringas and Penguin, Emily and Richard are one of my favorite things on the show. And watching Kelly and Lauren play off each other is always amazing.

Ashley, I just received an email from Jess (I know his real name is Milo, but I call him Jess in person. We're funny like that):

Dear Kringas:

Ashley is obsessed. Please save me. Don't let her near me. Alexis is just a beard. You're the only one for me. You, not Ashley. But both of you should watch the premiere tonight.

Love,
Jess

PS Tell Ashley Kelly Bishop is
not amused by her comments.

Lorelei- My paper did the same thing. I saw a blurb in the middle of an article that said Gilmore Girls so I went right to it, not seeing the beginning of the article said spoilers. Ah well. Hopefully the answer comes in the first few minutes.

DON'T TELL ME!

Patronus- this avatar is in honor of exactly what we're talking about. My Sutton one will be back though. Or at least a Sutton one. It kind of switches whether I'm on a Gilmore Girls kick or a Sutton one.

Kringas- Oy with the poodles already! re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread you're hilarious (sarcasm is key). I'm really trying to come up with something witty to say, but I'm too tired to come up with anything. And believe you me, I would much rather love Kelly than not. I just... don't. I think that must be some Jess imposter. That sounds nothing like the Jess I know. Check your sources.

Then just love Kelly! Stop the hatin', open your heart and allow yourself to be awash in the glow of the light of one Ms Kelly Bishop.

And I can't believe you'd call my Jess an imposter. Granted, in real life he does look like he's about fifty years old and about a hundred pounds heavier, but he told me that they use special cameras in Hollywood to make him look like a tiny little man in his twenties.

I love Kelly Bishop. Her work on Gilmore Girls is quite good. I get alot from her performances. Kringas, we both like Gilmore Girls! I think I hear bells...

edit: I'm kidding Kringas. I think I'll never fall in love again. Come to think of it, I never have. Oh well. If you've never tried something, you really don't know what you're missing. Right? Updated On: 9/13/05 at 05:14 PM

Kringas you can call me anything you want. I have to assume he says no. Because she's desperate about Lorelei but then again , they get each other because he teased her about Lorelei...so maybe yes? Tell me Kringas.

Enough, you two. This thread is about GILMORE GIRLS, which happens to start in exactly 20 minutes.

Kringas- I will try to open my mind. Believe me, I WANT to like her. I just can't.

Ashley, I simply don't understand why you feel you must attempt to thwart at every turn any hope I have of romance. re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

Enjoy the premiere and perhaps after it you'll see the light and pay a visit to the Kelly Bishop love thread.

ETA: Never mind. I see you already have!

***SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEE IT***

So... it's over now. I gotta say, I think they could have done a lot more with that episode. All the Lorelai-Rory stuff was great, but I thought they could have done a lot more with the Lorelai-Luke thing. I know they don't portray them as the lovey-dovey mushy couple, but they got engaged, and then went to toast? And then Luke just going, "Full moon- let's go?" Didn't particularly work for me. But I though Lauren played that epidsode amazingly. That last scene, I definetly bought it. I think it's amazing that Lorelai isn't just giving in to her parents like she usually does. Things are a-changing. And I like how Rory wasn't just let off that easy. But come on, I'm a hopeless romantic. Show us something. We haven't even heard an "I love you" yet (although I do think them saying, "I'm in. I'm all in" kind of said it). I just think they could have done more with the whole proposal thing. And Paris was great. I loved that whole thing. Great episode!!!

Sorry that's so long. I just have a lot to say. re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

Lorelai (or anyone)- are you a little... depressed? Maybe I take it too seriously, but I waited for this ALL summer. I speculated and imagined. Then I watched my hour slip away so fast. It's kind of depressing. At least we have a whole season to look forward to!

EDIT: I'm really excited about her presenting at the Emmys, too. She'll look gorgeous, I know. She always does.

I loved this episode!! I was really anticipating it, but I just wish there was more with Luke and Lorelai. I LOVE them together. Where was Sooki? She's one of my favorite characters on the show and she wasn't even in the season premiere. Oh well... LUKE AND LORELAI FOREVER!!
