I think they may be pushing Lorelai's craziness a bit too far, with some of the dog jokes etc...And I am not a fan of TJ...

But I do love how they referred back to the pet fair episode from however many seasons ago...

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Yeah.. I didn't get much of the hamster jokes. Oh well.

I kinda hate how Edward Herrmann has been typecast into this type of role.

C_O- You've been there? I can't describe the jealousy I am feeling right now. I have a friend that went there and she gets so annoyed with me talking about it.

I thought the past pet fair references were cute. And I HATE TJ. He is getting on my last nerve. I don't know... Luke and Lorelai are engaged. But they are not acting like an engaged couple. It kinda drives me crazy. Although the whole house thing is pretty sweet of Luke. Oh, and the "tough love, baby" that Lorelai has said a couple of times is a reference to a past episode where Lorelai and Luke were in a fight and Rory won't bring any food out to her from Luke's and she says "tough love, baby." Subtle but cute references.

yeah.. Stars Hollow is built in LA at the WB studios. It's kinda cool to be there and walk around.

Of course when I was there everything was in hiatus and I didn't see anybody! GRR! Oh well.

I wanted to see the cast of the West Wing too.

Okay, back to Gilmore Girls.

I've always wanted to go. And I will someday. I would love to meet the cast, as well. Just to pick their brains (if that makes sense and isn't too gross). Just to sit down and talk with Lauren would be absolutely amazing. That's like... my dream. I've heard it's really small. Are you allowed to take pictures? Because I think I would have my camera glued to my face.

And this is Gilmore Girls related.

It's not really taht small.. but the main thing is the little grassy nole (sp?) area with the gazeebo. And there's the store fronts and stuff.

Mostly the houses are in other parts of the set. And they do this thing where there are no straight streets. All curved. So the director can get 50 million angles and you don't really notice the difference.

If that's wrong, correct me.

Anyone excited for tonight's episode? Yay for Gilmore Girls.

Interesting episode. And I'm so mad- I always forget to wait for the preview of the next week, since I don't watch Supernatural. But yeah, interesting. I thought they made way too much of the whole "all the guys" and Lorelai thing. Just kind of got old. Luke was very cut with the dog thing. I loved that whole, "there are many things I could do to screw up this relationship but I cannot lose her because I killed her dog." Very sweet. Also I liked hearing him say fiancee. I don't know why. Oh! When TJ was talking about changing Rory's room into a meat room or something, anyone else watch Lorelai's face. The pain you could see in her was tremendous. Almost made me cry. God, Lauren Graham is amazing. I can't believe Rory joined the DAR. Completely betrayed her mother. It makes me so mad. Everything her mother has worked against for the past 20 years, and she throws it all away on a job. I can't wait for them to work it out.

Ok, that was really long. I could talk about this show for hours, though.

i liked when luke said finacee as well, it made me very happy, along with the whole vet part

i did want to kill TJ when he was talking about rory's room, i thought lorelai kept her cool for much longer than she should have, i probably would have killed him if i was her

but good episode, i am DEFINATELY excited for next week

Bumping the Gilmore love and just wanted to say that I love how there are so many showtunes and Broadway references on the show. Loved the whole Pippin performance last night! I was dancing and singing along with blue boy. GG makes me so happy. re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

Pretty good episode in all - and it was worth it just for that last little tirade when Emily let Mrs. Huntsberger have it with both barrels! You Go Em!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Emily is my favorite character again after what she did this week. She has such a bitchy class about her. I love it! lol

Kirk and his creepy dance was just strange and pointless.

I'm annoyed that Luke and Lorelai STILL have not said "I Love You" to one another.

Are you sure about that? I mean - hell - they're engaged - is that possible without the L word?

I only wish they'd dump Kirk - his character is the most annoying and pointless character in the show.

I've seen every episode. I (and others) do not recall them ever saying it; but perhaps it's just supposed to be an unsaid thing that we should assume is said in the part of their daily lives that we don't see?

I like Kirk once in a while. He's not on the show enough to annoy me. I think it's the strange little townspeople that add a charming quality.

Oooh! Oooh! I love GG, too! =) Um, can I post my pic of me with Ed Herrmann?? Actually, no, I won't...don't wanna be annoying. But you can see it by looking at my blog. It's there. He was very nice and did such a great job! (I was in a staged reading with him.) Heehee!

Emily laying the smack down on Huntsberger was one of my favorite moments of TV this year. I loved it.

Those awful references she made to the 30 odd pounds the b*tch had been gaining and losing and gaining, and the "pack of women" her husband had been sleeping with when he met her - OUCH...LOL...and SO deserved!

re: Gilmore Girls Love Thread

OK, Elphaba said to, so I am. There it is. It was taken just a week or so ago, on 10/2/05. The other gentleman is Dan Castellaneta (best known as Homer Simpson). I look like a moron, 'cause I was telling my friend how to work my camera. LOL

So, I missed the episode last night, and like a moron (yet again) I forgot to tape it. When do they re-air the eps? I know they do... Help! =)
