I am on my third call back as "Millie" in Thoroughly Modern Millie and was wondering what note it is that I am belting at the very end of "Gimme, Gimme?" I feel like my head is gonna explode...
(I don't read music.)

Well, without the music I can't really say, but if you count up the number of lines and spaces on the Treble-cleff (top staff), maybe we could help you out that way.
Side note--if you're a singer of any kind, go out and buy a beginners piano book and teach yourself to read music. Or invest in a class.

Agreed -if you want to sing, learn how to read music. It's more important than you realize and will help you so much.

Posted: 10/27/05 at 3:52pmIt's a C, one octave above middle c. If it feels like your head is about to explode, that's not so good!! Try a belty mix, or at least mix it for rehearsals and save the blowyourheadoff belting for performances.
