I'm not quite sure why you're not reading posts comrade.
I've said at least twice that as an American, I have the choice to write in someone if I do not feel that the other candidates are qualified.
Which I do not.

Taz I get what your saying but that vote then doesn't count. It is like you didn't vote at all.
You exercise that all you want, but it just doesn't matter to the process.

The whole idea of not being able to criticize a candidate when someone thinks they are wrong, because of some mythical party unity thing is BULLSH*T.
Why can't the members of the Democratic Party, tell their candidate that they think he's wrong? I think Obama is wrong on FISA, gay marriage, Health Care and probably dozens of other things. If being a Democrat means that you can't criticize the candidate, even when you think the candidate is wrong, when exactly can you criticize him. NEVER? Forget that. The time to criticize him, is before he's elected not after, if the candidate is unable to answer the criticism or unwilling to listen to his constituents then perhaps he's the wrong candidate.

"when exactly can you criticize him."
You can do it whenever you want. Just don't expect to win elections.
We don't have a real democracy or a decent media.
"mythical party unity "
Paljoey is the "unity" person.

"You can do it whenever you want. Just don't expect to win elections."
And maybe, they shouldn't win the election...if the criticism is valid.

"That'd be great if we had more than two options."
And as long as everyone continues to vote either Democratic or Republican, that's all we'll ever have. To strengthen other parties, you have to vote for their candidates.

From his comments about his reluctant support for this bill:
"It does, however, grant retroactive immunity, and I will work in the Senate to remove this provision so that we can seek full accountability for past offenses."
He needs to live up to this.
