While I ultimately respect what the Patriot Guard does, I wonder why almost no one cared when Westboro wasn't protesting fallen troops but rather gay men who were brutally murdered and such.

We will never get rid of all the people who think 'mos are gross--we can just come out and show Grandma and Uncle Joe or Rev. Dimsdale that the people they claim to hate are their friends, family and neighbors

Oh, I know we'll never get rid of those people just like the civil rights movement of the 60s didn't eradicate racism. We just need to get to point where enough people stop allowing the genie in the sky to be the reason for restricting the rights of others.

good luck--though I recently read (in Men's Health I think) that the number of people who go to church regularly was roughly the same as those who don't believe in religion at all--kinda surprising--but this was among men, who (in my experience) tend to be much less devout. Or maybe it's just me and my dad and my brother.
