Hi I think Godiva is over rated.
Lindt on 5th Avenue is better chocolate in my humble opinion.
I love the little chocolate filled balls with white chocolate filling.
They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.
And they are 3 for a dollar.
You only need one to feel satisfied.
Other better chocolate is Leonides great chocolate!
Kron is also exceptional.

Lindt IS good corine, but NOTHING beats a Godiva Truffle...Well, except Max von Essen. but that's a WHOLE 'nother thread.

Good chocolate is always hot. I never eat it myself because I don't want to gain weight but I do buy it as gifts. Everyone loves it and seems to happy to get it. I gave a Godiva gift basket to my cleaning lady last Christmas and she told me eating Godiva was better than sex. It was orgasmic. LOL.

I am serious about chocolate. My newest favorite is Jacques Torres and I go to the place where they are made in DUMBO (between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges..near the River Cafe in Brooklyn). Expensive but exquisite.
I used to like Teuscher but this is better
Lindt is not on the same par. They may have a store on Fifth Avenue but they also have little stores in every mall in NJ. Godiva is a subsidiary of Campbell's Soup Company
