Bea, Rue and Betty will be appearing at the Barnes & Noble in Chelsea on Tuesday, November 22, 12:30pm
OH. MY. GOD.
I have to WORK!!!!!!
As do I.
And I've never seen Betty White in person before.
AHHH! I had completely forgotten! Too bad about Estelle Getty It would have been nice if she could be there, but she doesn't even remember anyone.
Well, I've worked with Bea twice, and sat on the toilet right after Rue once.
But I've never seen Betty in person either.
What do you guess the ratio of women to men will be in the store that day?
Well, this is NY, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were pretty even.
Glebb, are you flying in for this?
Rath! LOL!

What do you guess the ratio of gay men to everyone else will be in the store that day?
Rath, I wish I were flying in for the Girls.
Unfortunately I'll be leaving for Fayetteville in the morning.
Margo - cross off one gay man.
Two. If I had any personal days left, I'd be there.
LOL!!!
Praying for TCM in the hotel.
well, here is one gay man who will be there!
We expect a full report!!
Like many of you, I have never seen Betty. I saw 'Bea on Broadway' (in which the audience was like a Saturday night at Splash, with a couple of older couples thrown in). I saw Rue one afternoon at Joe Allen's (which was right before I had surgery - seeing her made me feel everything would be o.k.). I have loved the girls since the pilot...I remember being the lone gay guy in college to stay in on Saturday's to see my girls!
I just got Season Three, and am watching it now.
You can bet your ass I'll be there.
Dammit! I wish I could--maybe I can weasel my way out of work...nut I REALLY need the money and I have seen Rue in Vagina Monos and The Ladies at the Alamo reading...and saw Bea's show twice, but no Betty! I hate being po'....
I saw Rue in "The Women" a few years ago. She was fantastic. And I saw Bea in "Just Between Friends."
I have never seen Betty in person.
I watched "The Golden Girls" when it originally aired. People don't believe me when I say that because I was about 6 years old, but it's true. I didn't have a real appreciation for them until I was a little older. I just used to love the show because Rose looked like my Grandmother (and my Grandmother's name is Rose) and I just thought they were funny old ladies. LOL

Once in every 12,000 posts or so I will get a PM from somebody saying, "Why are you mean to Rathnait sometimes?"
Now I'll just cut and paste the above as a response.
FYI, the other 11,999 PMs say "please keep up the good work."
