Miss P - Survival should be cause for celebration, not pain

Miss P - there's ALWAYS someone younger - but there's ALWAYS someone older, too

But as you get older, there are FEWER who are older than you. Take it from Grandma Ida, whom we will be seeing in August for her 104th birthday!
(And the few who are older are so cranky you don't even talk to them.)

I knew someone was going to take it that way. Come on, you know what I mean.
And this "landmark" isn't that old anyway. In 10 more years you can be be depressed about it.

Taz - I was just giving HER a little ribbing - cause if SHE'S 'old', we're ALL in trouble

Hey, you guys, I know that "old" is something you carry with you...just as "young" is.
Well, I choose YOUNG!
Honestly, I didn't want to make this thread about me since it's Glebby's! But if you insist....
Tazzy, thanks for the compliment. It means a lot to me.
DG, are you going to start calling me "Meth"? That'll get people talkin'!!!

Ok, since we're ALL young, let's all join Glebby in a leap for joy!
How's that for bringing it back around?

Yes, June '08 Field Trip. I guess I'll have to throw a big party, too, even though I said this year's was the last one I would celebrate! (Moony said that I wouldn't be alowed, so here's my excuse.)
Mrs. and Miss Kitt can come too.
Glebby, see how you are bringing so many good people together!!!
XOXOXO

Open a new window,
Open a new door,
Travel a new highway,
That's never been tried before;
Before you find you're a dull fellow,
Punching the same clock,
Walking the same tight rope
As everyone on the block.
The fellow you ought to be is three dimensional,
Soaking up life down to your toes,
Whenever they say you're slightly unconventional,
Just put your thumb up to your nose.
And show 'em how to dance to a new rhythm,
Whistle a new song,
Toast with a new vintage,
The fizz doesn't fizz too long.
There's only one way to make the bubbles stay,
Simply travel a new high way,
Dance to a new rhythm,
Open a new window ev'ry day!
Wishing you much love and all the best as you open a new window, Glebby!

May you always have Bread - that this house may never know hunger
Salt - that life may always have flavor
and Wine - that joy and prosperity may reign forever
A click for life.

Mamie, Glebby can always use the bread and wine, but SALT is one thing he definitely doesn't need!
The entire family and I send love and warm wishes to you and Tanny.
XOOO

My things are still in Chicago so I have no home computer but my work computer is finally up and I can visit BWW all I want (in my free time). :)
Thanks to you Addy, Mamie, MissPennywise, Bluemoon and PalJoey for your thoughtful greetings. Thanks to those of you who sent gifts to my new place. How lucky can I get? :)
I've just returned from teaching a two hour class in the Academy. The summer course classes take place at the University and I enjoyed the advanced level. The students are like sponges. They just want to soak it all up.
Tanny and I like it here. It reminds me of those summer residencies in Telluride. Same weather and it's just fantastic to have moutains as a backdrop.
A little more to do now so I'll close but I did want to say hi to all and send lots of "Hugs and Kisses".

I know you had some big problems with the move but I really hope all is well now and PLEASE VISIT US AGAIN! OK?
