Awwwww Mamie, you're such a sweetheart. I've taken a picture of the gift basket. I'll send as soon as I can.
I miss you too. The movers got here on Friday so I am now living in my apt. New bedroom set is still not here however. No rush on that. It's OK. I'll have internet and cable a week from today. Tanny is very happy in the new place. :)
PalJoey - no sisterwives yet but I do have several new crushes.
DG - I miss you handsome and darn it, it's beautiful here!

Chicago sends greetings! It is a beautiful week here. Perfect, actually.
I was under the impression you were still coming back to do Giselle! Now I learn that is not going to be. I am so disappointed. I was so looking forward to that.
I hope you are enjoying your new home. I am sure Tanny LOVES the space.

Sorry about Giselle Sueleen. Had I remained for that, I would have missed the opportunity to work with Ballet West II for four weeks alone before the main company returns. Since I'm the new Dirctor of Ballet West II I couldn't see the sense in doing Giselle. I had also done it very happily for OBT many years before and wanted to keep the good memories.
Tanny and I are settled in comfortably. It's so pretty here.
Yesterday I went for swimming and dinner at the Bishop of the Episcopalian Church's house at the very foot of the moutains. What a gorgeous experience.

Not sure if I was correct in calling him Bishop.
I've found out that his title is: "The Very Reverend ....."
No internet at home until next Monday so I'll not be around again this evening and tomorrow. Tomorrow is a huge holiday here (bigger than July 4). It's "Pioneer Day". Can't wait! :)

Yay!!! I missed you and the golden girl! The pic outside looks beautiful. I hope you're feeling at home there BUT I also hope you still have lots of trips back East. I'm still hoping to run into you sometime in NY. Maybe over breakfast with the Pink Lady?

Mamie! Thanks again for your most kindly welcome. It meant a lot to me and was literally the very first thing to grace the new home.
Michigan Ave may never see the glorious Tanny again but NYC will not be denied her presence for too long. :) Wouldn't it be fun to meet for an outside breakfast near Lincoln Center and have Tanny with?
Here is a pic of the view from the park. My camera does no justice to the moutains. Tanny and I go to the park at least twice a day and in the afternoons, I just stare at the gorgeous moutains.

I just found out yesterday that I'm going to Denver today to be one of the judges for the 'Youth America Grand Prix' competition.
Tanny will have to stay at Camp Barkalot but weather permitting I will be back Sunday.
