I still have to work today but not tomorrow thank god!

OK. The trend seems to be that someone will bump this thread with something totally banal. This isn't anyone's fault, not much to talk about seeing as how Greg is busy with renovations and such. But, I do have something on-topic to ask...

Any news as to whether or not John Lithgow's show is going to be released? I'd love to see Greg's episode. Not to mention, I'd love to see Lithgow have work as well (his cameo in "Dreamgirls" was fabulous).

No news so far. barb I think might be the one to ask. I would love to see Greg's episode too.

I forgot John was in Dreamgirls. Was it a good movie?

Traci, you will be very sad:

Cumming to the Wedding

by Natalie Finn

E! Online's Marc Malkin learning exclusively that Alan Cumming is planning to tie the knot with American boyfriend Grant Shaffer in a civil ceremony in London over the weekend. The Tony winner told Attitude magazine recently that he and Shaffer, who share an apartment in New York, would have preferred to get married in the U.S. but...well, you know.

Well, good for him...glad there's somewhere they can be married.

So I moved into my new dorm today. It's in the financial district--so quiet and dead at night, I wouldn't believe I actually moved to NY. My roomie seems really nice, she's gone for the night, and there's not many people here over the break so I'm a little lonely.

Wait, I haven't posted here in a while...I got a spring internship! Yay. This one actually pays for a metrocard. Oh yeah guys, I'm moving up in the financial world.

I had a wonderful week in Bermuda with the sisters...we managed not to kill each other and there was fun, sun, beaches, pools...it really was a beautiful island. I shrieked when we got in the cab and I saw the driver's wheel was ont he other side of the car. And the water was really green--it was sooo pretty! I took a ferry ride, learned some history (my history geekiness always comes out on these trips), and met a gorgeous British guy at the hotel bar.

New Year's was fun with the family. We slept over my cousin's, and I played Cranium for the first time. Really fun, and of course me and my sister won Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

I got a 3.83 first semester. Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

Lithgow's wig in Dreamgirls was ridiculous...btw I looved the movie.

Enough for now I guess. Hope everyone had a great new year! How are you all?

Annie, you'll like this one. It doesn't try to be ridiculous like the one in Scoundrels. It's supposed to look ridiculous, and it does.

So Thursday night I was hanging at my friend's apartment downtown by the west end, kind of the village I guess. Anyway, I left around 10:30 and had a bit of a walk back to the subway. I passed many places on the way--restaurants, stores, etc. At one point, a door to a restaurant opens, so close it almost hit me, and I almost bump smack into...Joanna Gleason! Ha! That was a nice surprise. I almost stopped to say hi until I was like well she met me once and she was with people, so I kind of...hesitated then just smiled and walked on. Anyway, it was a nice surprise.

It's nice having a "vacation" in the city. Granted I'm home now, visiting cousins, but nothing that exciting was happening anyway. Tuesday I tried to maybe get Letterman tickets and went to the Museum of TV and Radio and amazingly won the Chorus Line lotto, Wednesday I saw Mary Poppins again, Thursday I was with my friend...this week I have plans to see Spelling Bee, Company, Tarzan and A Jew Grows in Brooklyn (2 of 4 would be free!), plus possibly free days at the Museum of the City of NY, the Bronx Zoo and the club where my friend dances.

My internship screwed me, so nothing's going on there now. But at least I have plenty to do over the weeks.

Ooh, and I was asked back to the community theater I played for last year! This year we're doing Annie Get Your Gun. I love to play!

finally got my computer back. yay!

and guess what?

I was cleaning up after one of our shows today at my community theatre, and the cast was having a meet and greet with the audience. Well, I looked up and I saw this guy. I swear to you, I had to do a triple take cause I thought it was Greg. He had the same hair style, same shape of head, similar face, but the hair was more white than grey. I almost freaked out. But then i also thought, "Why the hell would Greg come to NJ just to see a community theatre production of Beauty and the Beast done by high school students?" What a weird day.

I should have senn Happy feet instead of this.
