Well I was just thinking about how much fun everyone working with the Rent tour looked like they were having (not just the actors and band memebers) and I got to thinking that that would be pretty awesome, thanks for all the insight!
Good morning all. I just posted this note over on the 'adults' thread. These tickets are FREE to the first people who ask for them. Send me a PM or an mail if you'd like them. I really hate to see them go to waste!
"Good morning everybody.
Well, I'm convinced now that I am well and truly JINXED.
The last two times I planned trips to NY I told everyone about it and then had things come up which caused me to cancel the trips. This time I decided to go ahead and plan the trip but NOT TELL ANYONE! I figured if I hid the info from the big jinx monster* then everything would work out and I'd actually get there. Alas, it was not to be.... I have been home sick for the last week and a half with double pneumonia. I'm in so much pain right now that I can't even lean over to feed the cat. (She's eating off the coffee table right now!)
Anyway - I just got finished cancelling my hotel and train reservations. I still have my theatre tickets - all of which are non-refundable. I have a ticket for the Follies concert (matinee on Saturday) which I will gladly mail to anyone who wants it IF they let me know before the mailman comes this afternoon. I think I can get it to you before Saturday if I mail it today.
I also have a ticket for Drowsy Chaperone on Saturday night and The Vertical Hour on Sunday afternoon. These are both etickets and I'll be happy to pass them on to anyone who asks.
Now I'm going to go back to the sofa and my heating pad and start crying again.
*jinx monster - I've spent most of my 'down' time watching my Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVD's. It shows.
(I'm never going back to NY again) "
awww, Mamie, I'm so sorry! I wish I could help (either to take the tickets off your hands or be there with you and make you soup) And I bet you will get back to NYC. You just have to pray hard and keep positive and always look on the bright side of life! (do..dodo..dododo)
Feel better Mamie.

David Kirshenbaum mentions "Nothing is Too Wonderful to Be True" from DRS. and a few mention the "Next Ten Minutes" from L5Y. and Joanna Gleason and her husband have a cute picture there.
Annie!

thanks dre, I will read it!
btw, I have just read another article about the Producers in Vegas...Hasselhoff as Roger de Bris...I wanna cream!
so, we have about 5 inches of snow here. And my spanish professor still doesn;t cancel class. Oh no, he's up at 4am shoveling snow. Crazy guy.
what about all of you?

snow? No kidding...here it's already spring...honestly...flowers are blossoming since january, birds are singing.
that's not normal...I could not wear my Sweet Charity cap!
yeah, i'll take a picture of it for you tomorrow.
It was so awful here in NYC today I can't even explain. It snowed all last night, which was fine, but come this morning it turned into slush/ice and it was almost impossible to walk around and they didn't cancel school. Finally in the middle of the day they cancelled classes and closed the building. It's so bleh. I wanted snow but not a slush storm!
ok, so this British guy joined our facebook group "Greg is a true prance" cause he thought it was based on his roommate, Greg Prance.
I broke the news gently to him.
Good morning strangers! This weather is REALLY getting me down! First I got a head cold, then it went into my chest, then it became bronchitis and then double pneumonia. I've been on antibiotics for the last 2 weeks and I tried to go back to work this week and it's SO COLD outside that I can't breath in it! This really sucks. (And I don't use that term lightly!)
Annie - I think that instead of you coming to NY, we should all come visit you in Hungary. Your weather sounds gorgeous!
awww, mamie! I'm sorry! drink a lot of coco. (and hot tea). Lemon and honey always worked for me (when I had a cold)
Dre - I've put away GALLONS of tea with honey, lemon, and a shot of whiskey. I don't think it actually helps, but it tastes good and it helps you sleep!
Has anybody heard anything from our true prance lately? I wonder what he's up to now that the house is done.
the house is done? wow, never knew that.
btw, does anyone like the new color design stuff on the edges of the site? I don't like that is; white.
I'm having a terrible time trying to read the stuff on the left. I figured it was just my old age and bad eyesight.
The only thing they had left to do on the house was getting the proper tiles in for the kitchen. I got a note from Greg in January saying that the tiles had come and all was now done. I asked for a pic of the finished kitchen island (I LOVE that island!) but I never got one. I'm still hoping....

yes Mamie it is gorgeous indeed! Spring has already arrived! ...and so did the flu.
Oh Annie - I hope the flu didn't get you! If you are feeling good, you should try to get some pictures of your beautiful spring and post them here.
go to Greg's page! Update on what's he's doing! Plus, this is another reason why I love Greg:

I just had 7 hours of tech rehearsal for a local high school production of Les Mis. Let's just say I'm tired and...yeah, tired.

I was watching Grounded for Life yesterday afternoon and he played the neighbor! I was so happy to recognize him; life's little joys, I suppose.
so, opening night of Les Mis here in PA (at the local high school.) It went pretty well for a high school that doesn't have a theatre class and also having the lights getting messed up and having to be redone the morning before opening night.
how's life with you guys?
