Great group Dre! My feeling is that like, I joined, you invited me, and I later saw that one of my friends joined. The feed does that, you see the groups your friends join, and as long as membership isn't closed, you decide to join too. I think that's what my friend did. I do that a lot.

BTW, here's the website of my show, because it's on the off-off Broadway official website, and that's just exciting!

http://offoffonline.com/listings.php?id=4838

I tentatively registered for my classes next year. Among those of interest to you all are...

THE MUSIC OF GERSHWIN AND BERNSTEIN!!! YES!!! YAAAY!!! SOO EXCITED!!!!

And an arts criticism workshop. Sounds very interesting, learning to be good critiquers/reviewers of arts like theater.

So I was wondering if it would be awkward to go to Spring Awakening with my mom. And when does Les Mis close?

Amanda: I know! I invited about 80-some people to join, 22 of those did and the rest of the 259 are random people I don;t know. and 500-some more still haven;t replied. I guess people invited them to it. It;s awesome!

Gershwin!!!! Crazy For You! Did I send you that cast recoring? cause it is amazing!!!!!

Julia, I don't think it will be *that* awkward to go with your mom, but then depends on a lot of factors--your relationship with your mom, your mom herself, etc. I wouldn't think it would, but then again, I don't think there would be much that at least I would be embarassed to see with my mom.

Les Miz extended to...what, the end of summer or something? If it sells well, whose to say it won't keep extending though?

Dre, I'm not sure we're actually gonna be doing Crazy For You--it's a compialment of the same music that has been used in other Gershwin shows, no? So if we study the other shows, why would we study CFY? Unless we purposely wanted to focus on how past songs were integrated into a new plot...which I guess is a possibility, but I honestly think I'd rather focus on the original material that the music was written for.

Thanks Ali! I came home for the weekend too just to chill. Don't complain--it's a nice thing to get to do.

I started this post an hour ago so I don't remember if I said what I wanted to but whatever.

Nope, sorry Ali. I'm sure I've done that at one point, but I'm home for the weekend, and my cousin who lives in our basement came upstairs to visit with me after I started the post, so I was talking with her for about an hour, and then returned to the post.

BTW Ali, it's great to have you back here posting Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

So now that I'm home I couldn't resist and am once again watching my tape of the BBC Pride & Prejudice. Just started part 2, here comes Mr. Collins. His talent for delicate comments of flattery...ha!

I saw A Chorus Line at Tallahassee Community College the other night and it was really good. It was a TCC/ Florida State Univ. production (and I like to think that FSU has a great theater program...) and it was the first time I've ever seen it. I love it. And I want to see it on Broadway now. k bye.

I love Harley Jay. I love him. And Declan. And most of the people in it. They are all so nice. Especially Dustin Brayley. he does the Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer bit in Christmas Bells.

Have fun!! Sorry you can't stage door, but I know it will be a blast anyway!!

So RENT. What can I saw about this show with this cast? They are Fabulous! I'm pretty much in love with Harley too Julia.

In the end we were able to stage door, but that's only because of the way the Theatre is set up. The stage door is actually inside the building. Strange. We had to pass it to get out of the theatre so we stuck around for a few. There was a large group of people waiting and the entire cast literally walked out single file at the same time. They had somewhere to be though so no one stayed. But when they came out everyone cheared really loud and Harley (being the dork he is) joined in. lol. He's so pretty up close. Not that I wasn't up close during the show. I got the $20 front row seats. Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

And Declan got a new do. It makes me laugh. It's like the reverse of a skunk. lol.

But as the cast walked by Harley burshed by my arm. I was in heaven. lol.

so, feeling a little down cause I think I need to sit my boyfriend down and talk about our relationship. I feel that I give more than what i receive, and I am a caring person, but I do need moral support and affection every now and then. It's stressful being in a relationship. I mean, I need to know what he thinks before I do anything drastic. any advice?

Dre, dump him for me! I'll give you support! Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

I feel like ****...sore throat, cold, hed hurts, weak, weather yesterday so did not help, etc. All in tiem for the wild party dress rehearsal tomorrow. Woot!

Ooh, I've been sending out e-mails and what-not about more detailed info about the show to anyone who expressed they might be coming...guess I haven't to any of you...I mean, Ali I know you said you'd love to come, but I don't wanna rush you with crutches and stuff.

so to Ali and anyone else, PM me if you're still interested in coming.

It's so weird, I thought Broadway world was another world, but The Wild Party is a *real* other world. 2 10-hour tech rehearsals on an equity contract...I mean i love it, it's just really weird that when I see my other friends around the dorm, i think oh yay, i'm glad he/she still exists.

Didn't go to classes today because of how crappy I felt, so at least I'm catching up on this and other **** now.

annie, you'll be proud of me. i got the best episodes of 3rd rock from the sun on DVD. and I love when John dances in the episode where Sally learns how to dance. it's hilarious!

Amanda, i haven't broken up with him. We talked and he's going to try and show more affection. I think it might work out.

April 22 2007 EDIT: it's not going to work out.

Hi back, Ali and Dre! :)

Just a heads up to all GregHeads that his web site has a few suggestions, for those who are enjoying the TV Land promos with Greg, to let the folks at TV Land know that.

Also, some of you may want to check out and perhaps even bookmark GregoryJbara.mobi on your cell phone/mobile device. That's a one-page, very bare bones, mostly text version with latest to fairly recent news highlights. Mobile version's handy for basic Greg news, but always the DOTcom for more info (and things like - for example - new screen caps in the image gallery, which I probably wouldn't bother to mention via the mobi when posted). No active links from the .mobi page either -- trying my best to keep it simple AND - as far as it's in my power - your cell bills low. Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

By the way, if I ever find a truly satisfactory "this site has been updated" service that fans can sign up for, I'll post it on Greg's site. I HAVE used some in the past, and the problem I always ran into was that they would email alerts to people based on even the very slightest change -- in other words, the alert service wouldn't know the diff between site change due to posting of actual news and site change due to fixing a typo or changing a logo. In the end, I think they're more annoying than useful really, and best thing is to just periodically check the site. - Barb xoxo
