ali- he's not communicating with me. I asked him what he wanted out of the relationship and where he thought it was going, but he didn;t answer. and he treats me as a friend and not a girlfriend in public.

barb! nice to see you're still around!

Hi back, Ali and Dre! :)

Just a heads up to all GregHeads that his web site has a few suggestions, for those who are enjoying the TV Land promos with Greg, to let the folks at TV Land know that.

Also, some of you may want to check out and perhaps even bookmark GregoryJbara.mobi on your cell phone/mobile device. That's a one-page, very bare bones, mostly text version with latest to fairly recent news highlights. Mobile version's handy for basic Greg news, but always the DOTcom for more info (and things like - for example - new screen caps in the image gallery, which I probably wouldn't bother to mention via the mobi when posted). No active links from the .mobi page either -- trying my best to keep it simple AND - as far as it's in my power - your cell bills low. Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

By the way, if I ever find a truly satisfactory "this site has been updated" service that fans can sign up for, I'll post it on Greg's site. I HAVE used some in the past, and the problem I always ran into was that they would email alerts to people based on even the very slightest change -- in other words, the alert service wouldn't know the diff between site change due to posting of actual news and site change due to fixing a typo or changing a logo. In the end, I think they're more annoying than useful really, and best thing is to just periodically check the site. - Barb xoxo

and to let everyone know, if you guys are interested (which i doubt), after a week of trying to get in touch with my boyfriend to break up with him, i finally talked to him this morning and it's over. i feel very liberated now.

Happy liberation, Dre! :)

Another head's up ... The OUT OF STEP movie folks have their web site up now ... most stuff on there is still of a "coming soon" nature, so keep an eye out for them to add more. I can hardly wait! Looks good. Check it out ... just got the link up on Greg's site earlier today. I think the movie site just went live last night.

I just found out today that I am getting my own editorial column in the local newspaper. I am pretty excited.

Here is a copy of my latest article that was published in the school newspaper:

Tiger’s Roar
April Issue
Editorial
Liz Adams
Hallway Perpetrators
As a student, walking is part of my job description. Other components include reading, writing, sitting, and, yes, sometimes even thinking. I walk from English to history, history to the Student Center, and the Student Center to chemistry. I have no problem with walking. It is good exercise, I suppose. The problems begin when I get caught behind people who feel it necessary to walk at a glacial pace.
Ah yes, slow hallway walkers, you know them well. They seem to weave when you weave and bob when you bob; wherever you go, they go. It is impossible to get around them. Getting caught behind a slow hallway walker can be detrimental to the sanity of those who actually have to get to class. I understand how difficult it must be to not see your friends for a whole two periods-- separation anxiety: a high schooler’s nightmare. However, it is important to realize that what these “hallway perpetrators” are doing is not only affecting them, but it’s affecting the people who are caught behind them.
Let me set up an equation: each student has five minutes to get from Point A to Point B. It takes about one minute after the bell to collect all of your books (a), two minutes to simply get from your classroom to your locker (b), one minute to exchange books (c), and you are now only left with one more minute to get to your classroom. (For those who haven’t caught on, the equation is a+2b+c=4). We simply do not have time to get caught behind these “perps.”
We need to take action! So, I propose a new club—the Regular Speed Walkers of America (RSWA). Sign ups will be soon at SLO* (no pun intended), and we will have t-shirts. If we band together now, hold car washes, run bake sales and print flyers, I know we can force the hallway perps to walk faster!

--

*SLO = Student Life Office.

Would love to hear what you all think.

PS! love you avatar!!! House is mine. What happened in tonight's episode? I missed it due to a theatre banquet and "arts and craft" party. Can you guess what the "arts and crafts" party really was?

Traci (and everybody) ... CBS.com now has the episode up at their web site. Not sure how long it'll be there. Online they divided the episode ("Paradise Lost") up into five parts. (With breaks inbetween.) Greg's scene is in the third part, about 3 min. and 15 sec. in. Go to CBS.com, under shows, go to The Unit page, "watch episodes now" or something like that, should get you there.

Their video player works better with IE than with Firefox, I learned. - Barb xoxo

So I have to write my Salutatory speech by tomorrow and I just can't concentrate. Matter of fact I'm supposed to finish it today before I can leave the house. I know what I'm trying to say in it, but it's just not coming out right. This is making me frustrated and therefore I cannot concentrate. AGH.

I know I'm really late in responding but Liz, what you wrote, minus the equation, and the specific going to class/locker...is NYC. Especially in Times Square, always caught behind slow workers who i can't get around. Drives me crazy.

Hey Meg! I just saw Legally Blonde last night. I got student rush (had to wait at the box office from 7 till 10am) but it was totally worth it. front row for $26.50. Loved it! And I waited at the stage door and Jason came out but no one stopped him for autographs. But of course I did. He didn't have a pen on him and started walking away, but came back when he figured out he did have one. I was going to ask for a photo but he seemed to be in a rush, so I didn;t bother.

I loved Christian Borle in the show. He was so sweet and did a great job. He came off as the guy next door.

I left the theatre with a smile on my face that I couldn't get rid of for about an hour. Loved all the songs, except for Blood in the Water. I think Michael Rupert could have done a better job with that song.

but if you guys get a chance to see it, definately take it! You won't be sorry.

Ditto Dre.

Hmm...I hope I'm not underestimating the number of people who read this thread, because I don't like to publicly post things like this like exactly what I'm doing where I am, etc, but...

I have an internship with Broadway Bullet, which is a Broadway podcast. You guys should subscribe, it's pretty cool. We have a website, www.broadwaybullet.com, with a forum that hardly anyone posts in, show notes and links to the podcasts, transcriptions of interviews, videos, blogs, etc.

At our orientation, we practiced uploading a video. I uploaded a "commercial" for the DRS tour. A brief interview with Norbert, clips and scenes from what happened to be the mid-cast, which meant lots of Rachel York, hehe. I put in the tour website of course. Watching it made me miss DRS again. Hopefully I'll be able to take a short trip over to Hartford to see the tour (and Philly to see Rachel in Camelot!)

I also have my own official theater blog, hehe. I'm working on my first entry, about the Tonys, past and present...mainly how much better the broadcasts/performances used to be, but some past problems, lots of present problems, etc.

So if you guys have a chance, you should check the site out. Certainly feel free to give me suggestions for videos to upload or blog entries. I can do wahtever the hell I want with that, so if I can figure out someway to keep it brief, I may make one entry my love letter to DRS (after my love letter to WSS of course).

How are you all doing? Any exciting plans for the summer?

I have another reading I'm playing for in June, I have to remember to send that info to people--it's free, and there's even free food!

Ooh, and Drama Desks premiere 12:30 tomorrow on PBS for those in the NY area. Think of me during all the Kander shots Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

I still need to see Legally Blonde...

got a question for you Amanda (and anyone who saw Sweeny Todd): did you ever see Benjamin Eakeley as Tobias, Anthony Hope, or the Beadle? He was a standby. and if so, was he good? Only asking cause he's playing Demetrius in Midsummer that I'm ASMing. He's really good in this part. And very nice.

Annie -
This is really strange but I was thinking about you this morning! I was throwing out some old newspapers and I ran across a page that said that John Lithgow was appearing at a local bookseller's last week and autographing his book! I wouldn't have been able to go anyway because it was during the week, while I was at work. But it brought back memories. I particularly remembered that day that Greg got John to come over and say hi to you.

Sometimes it seems like that was a hundred years ago!

I hope that you and all the other 'regulars' here are well and having wonderful summers!
