Ditto Dre.

Hmm...I hope I'm not underestimating the number of people who read this thread, because I don't like to publicly post things like this like exactly what I'm doing where I am, etc, but...

I have an internship with Broadway Bullet, which is a Broadway podcast. You guys should subscribe, it's pretty cool. We have a website, www.broadwaybullet.com, with a forum that hardly anyone posts in, show notes and links to the podcasts, transcriptions of interviews, videos, blogs, etc.

At our orientation, we practiced uploading a video. I uploaded a "commercial" for the DRS tour. A brief interview with Norbert, clips and scenes from what happened to be the mid-cast, which meant lots of Rachel York, hehe. I put in the tour website of course. Watching it made me miss DRS again. Hopefully I'll be able to take a short trip over to Hartford to see the tour (and Philly to see Rachel in Camelot!)

I also have my own official theater blog, hehe. I'm working on my first entry, about the Tonys, past and present...mainly how much better the broadcasts/performances used to be, but some past problems, lots of present problems, etc.

So if you guys have a chance, you should check the site out. Certainly feel free to give me suggestions for videos to upload or blog entries. I can do wahtever the hell I want with that, so if I can figure out someway to keep it brief, I may make one entry my love letter to DRS (after my love letter to WSS of course).

How are you all doing? Any exciting plans for the summer?

I have another reading I'm playing for in June, I have to remember to send that info to people--it's free, and there's even free food!

Ooh, and Drama Desks premiere 12:30 tomorrow on PBS for those in the NY area. Think of me during all the Kander shots Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

I still need to see Legally Blonde...

got a question for you Amanda (and anyone who saw Sweeny Todd): did you ever see Benjamin Eakeley as Tobias, Anthony Hope, or the Beadle? He was a standby. and if so, was he good? Only asking cause he's playing Demetrius in Midsummer that I'm ASMing. He's really good in this part. And very nice.

Annie -
This is really strange but I was thinking about you this morning! I was throwing out some old newspapers and I ran across a page that said that John Lithgow was appearing at a local bookseller's last week and autographing his book! I wouldn't have been able to go anyway because it was during the week, while I was at work. But it brought back memories. I particularly remembered that day that Greg got John to come over and say hi to you.

Sometimes it seems like that was a hundred years ago!

I hope that you and all the other 'regulars' here are well and having wonderful summers!

I'm missing the tonys as I have to work today, so different from last year when I was glued to the tv for them...

le sigh...

Thank god for Dvrs!

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

And how could anyone forget to whip the chimp and screw the shrew? Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

It really does feel like another lifetime. I saw Joe Cassidy at a reading recently (did I post about that? I can't remember anything...), and even seeing him I said it really felt like a lifetime ago...

But I'll say this much...at least for me, part of that reason is that my life is in a very different place right now...spent the year in the city, cool internships, etc, and well...that was a very difficult time for me, and DRS and Greg and you and everyone...really helped me through it.

"I'm so glad things are going so well for you and Amanda in the entertainment field."

Aww, thank you for saying so Mamie! especially since I haven't posted in a while, but yeah, things are going pretty awesome for me...except for commuting, it really really sucks. But I'm being trusted with a lot of responsibility, doing real marketing among other things, given you know the freedom to just do what I want on my own time...

And having all this Broadway and online knowledge helps immensely...ha, look at that, all my hours spent on BWW can actually help me in the career field! Haha to all those that would say I need to get a life, I was getting a big jump on life Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

ok, i have to get this out, and I can't write it on facebook cause my friend will see it.

My best friend in the whole world (we have known each other since we were 10 and we're 20 know), she's ben going out with this guy for about a year now and it seems pretty serious and she's met his parents and the love her and her parents love the guy.

well, I was talking to her yesterday about it and it seems that if he asks her to marry him (which wont be until she's out of college: another two years), she will say yes.

Now, that just boggles my mind. I mean, I have always known that she will get married to someone one day, but I never realized it will be soon. And maybe I always thought I would be first. I don't know. But I had to get it off my chest and tll someone. Thanks for letting me just write.

I'm heading off to camp tomorrow! If anyone is feeling the urge to write a letter or five my address is as follows:
Julia Bates
PO Box 829
Brevard, NC 28712

Any stalkers who frequent this thread are welcome to figure out what camp that is and come stalk me--- our director will throw you all the way to China when she finds you though! Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

But really, I'll be there for a month and any sort of mail is appreciated! (Thanks for last year's letter Barb!!! It was the first letter I got all session!)

And Dre, I thought me going to college in the fall was weird, but having peers consider marraige is just... crazy.

Far as people I graduated with, I'm sure some of the gals, like me, are at least pre-menopausal. I've been hot-flashing like crazy lately!

Julia, I hope you have a great time at camp this year!

Anyhoo ... be sure to check out the official EXIT SPEED movie site.
Greg plays Yarbro ... the movie site has several pics with him.

x's and o's to all,
