"The teen wanted to crash the plane into a Hannah Montana concert in Lafayette, Louisiana, two CNN television affiliates in Nashville, WSMV and WTVF, reported, citing unnamed sources. The concert is scheduled for Friday night at the Lafayette Cajundome."

Posted: 1/25/08 at 4:47pmI happened to see Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus on Oprah one recent snow day and I am shocked and a little embarassed to say she seemed pretty cool and they sang a duet together and it was beautiful.

Hannah Montana is just a fad. Someone else will come along and Hannah Montana will be just another fad. Happened with Lizzie Mcguire, don't see that show anymore or anymore movies(maybe since Hillary Duff moved on to other things), but it'll happen soon.
I'm anxiously awaiting High School Musical to disappear, but that won't happen for a long time.

Plastic? There's nothing plastic about her--although she could really use some work on her teeth.
Hilary was popular, but nowhere NEAR as popular as Miley/"Hannah Montana".
Some of Miley's music is actually pretty good, even to people who aren't 13 year old girls. If you like pop music, check out "See You Again" from Miley's part of the Hannah Montana 2 CD.
Hilary is still doing pretty well though. She released a CD a couple years ago that I love. She is still performing in concerts too. She seems pretty modest and classy, which I really like about her.

I've read a dozen interviews with her where she says she's proud to be a virgin and she takes her job as a role model very seriously.
I think it has to do with that Christian thing.

I think she's cute. But I can't tell you how, as a teenager, it bugs me when teenagers look like they're 12. It's a trend with Disney channel...it just seems odd. And unfair to a maturing girl like Hannah Montanna.
P.S. Who in God's name came up with Hannah Montanna? Why not Wyoming? Because it's a state's name AND a people name. Or New York. Or Lousia Lousiana. That name is pretty. I really think the name Hannah Montanna could be better.
Her wigs look really real.

Hannah Montanna rhymes.
I heard a guy took his idea "Rockin' Roland" to Disney and they turned him down. Hannah Montanna came out a few months later.
Same concept, but with a boy.
I like "Rockin' Roland".

But the rhyming is what makes her so punch-worthy! Even though she's sweet.
When I baby-sat last night, the kids were watching a new Disney show about a family of witches. It was actually a pretty decent show, and the teen girl that they had was very pretty and could act. I liked her. And I thought her brother was cute.
But I remember the days when Disney Channel would come out with these amazingly moving movies. And the quality of their TV shows was pretty high...Even Stevens had a great cast, and they aired Boy Meets World until the college episodes when things got too sexy.
I miss 7th grade.
