I just put the turkey in the oven and before I start cutting up the veggies, making the rest of the sides and fighting with family, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

We're keeping it small, at home, just us and one brother-in-law, whom I actually like. Dinner for seven, football on the TV, and good company. I may even enjoy the day.

This is my favorite day of the year - taking time to remember how very blessed and precious life can be, and how fortunate I have been and am.

May everyone have peace of mind and heart today, and find reason to be thankful.

Am with my sister and her family and my parents.
My college freshman niece is home and still asleep... I kind of miss cuddling with the little girl who wanted to watch all the Broadway performances in the parade with me. But... am Thankful that she is home safe and sound!

My Blessings are great. I give Thanks for them all.

I give Thanks to the Service men and women who aren't home with their own families this Thanksgiving.

I give Thanks for my family of friends - and for the many friendships born from BWW.

We are going to my brother in law's. He is about as mature as a 17 year old. Good times. I'll be buying the big bottle of wine.

Give your daughter a bullet proof vest and a stun gun to protect herself, especially if she's working at Wal Mart or Toys R' Us.

I am thankful for everyone here who understands my sense of humor and has forgiven me if I have ever offended them.
Life may be short, but it is even shorter when you lose your sense of humor.
