"Judas, you are being sent to your corner for a time out. Sit there and shut up." South Fl Marc

How many times in history do you think that's been said? haha...

I hold a degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. It is useless. Now I'm funny for money. Oh, and I sing.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

Actually, it's already been written!

I don't remember the specifics, but at the Idyllwild School of the Arts in Idyllwild, CA, one of their many summer camps is a musical theater camp for middle schoolers. Every year the director and musical director get together and write a musical based off of a book or something (probably unauthorized, but who knows) and then the students put it on over the course of the three-week camp.

It unfortunately was the year before I went there, but I heard other campers still talking about it. It was based off of the first book, and featured songs such as "In My Own Little Cupboard".

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

What you heard about Clay was patially true, he plays Lucious, Draco's father.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

Ah, well okay. I had pegged Clay more as the Dobie the house elf type, myself.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

Though, I know it's a joke, that cast would be soooo scary re: Harry Potter: The Musical BTW, niice job on the Defying Voldemort lryics :)
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

Well even if he did, do you really think he would use lyrics to the music of Wicked? this is just plain wrong.
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

A as Harry Potter/Broadway fan I am forced to laugh to keep from crying. Some things should just not be made into musicals. EVER. And if this were true I'd be hiding in a corner sobbing. But as for Harvey Fierstein as Voldemort. LMAO! Somehow there is nothing funnier than an overweight Voldemort. Can't you just picture it?

Lucius: Um, My Lord perhaps you've had enough TastyKakes?
Voldemort: Damnit, I need comfort food! For an all powerful dark wizard I'm completely ineffectual.
Bellatrix: Uh oh, Somebody's fallen off the weight-loss wagon.
Voldemort: Don't think I'd don't see you Severus. You touch that Butterscoth Krumpet and your mine, Biatch!

Just ignore me I'm having a brain fart but there's just something about Fat!Voldemort that is utterly amusing. *sigh*

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

*Update!*

The role of Sirius Black has been filled by Hunter Foster, and the role of Remus J. Lupin will be played by Ken Jennings.

Man! This show is gonna OWN!!!!

Apparently Mel Brooks has signed on to help Stephen Schwartz, it should be pretty good.

Sarah Ramirez will be playing Prof. McGonnagle, and playing Mr. and Mrs. Dursley will be Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou.

Billy Crystal broke his hip while playing Harry, and the production will be post-poned until he recovers.

re: Harry Potter: The Musical

You scared me for a minute ,but this is great!
I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.
