Okay, I was thinking about this while watching "All In The Family" in Sociology today (Gloria lost her baby). Now in Sarita's mind, abortion is considered MURDER. Would LOSING the baby be considered MAN SLAUGHTER?

Wait for it. If McCain loses, she will bolt from the View. She won't stand a chance anymore and she will high tail it over to spout more BS alongside Huckabee.
I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

No she won't bolt- remember, all the co-hosts LOVE each other- they only fight on camera but they're BFF's off! Oh, and by the way- I loved how when Elizabeth said she wanted to bring the wardrobegate to rest, Barbara pointed out that it was her that brought it up in her introduction to Palin. Then Whoopi said people aren't mad because it's sexist, they're mad because you can't portray yourself as the Average Joanne and then sport very expensive clothes. Joy chimed in and said she has to decide who she is and if she's so down homey, then she should have said no thanks to the clothes!

GOD she's infuriating.
"Sassy"? How about "a BIOTCH"?
She's just spewing out complete nonsense!

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Well, I'd like to thank Sarah & Elisabeth for keeping the wardrobe story going. They continue to bring it up, and now the folks on CNN are discussing it.

Whenever I see Elisabeth blathering on about McCain, Ayres, whatever, all I can picture is Sean Hannity behind her with his hand up her back. She's really little more than a ventriloquist dummy where politics are concerned.
Then there's the issue of whose hand is up Hannity's back, since I don't think the man is capable of an original thought.

For those who want some more astute EH political commentary, today she called Obama's 30-minute ad buys "repulsive"....
What's repulsive about it, Elizabeth?
The fact that he has so many supporters and donors that he has enough in his coffers to do so, which is his right to do?

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Her vitriol on today's (29th) show was extreme and severe. She's gone from being a critic of his policies and ideas to seriously sliming his character -- very Anne Coulter Lite. Whoopie was ready to smack her upside her head today, but instead changed the subject. After the election, watch her Fox-ify everything. It used to be entertaining to watch Rosie, and then Whoopie and Joy, take her on. Now, she's so singularly sour and -- post Florida -- really behaves like an authority. Who the hell is this woman? A SURVIVOR, literally. She isn't funny or witty, just opionated and self-righteous. I wish she'd leave the scene with Palin. Let 'em do CHICAGO somewhere.

Auggie- excellent points as usual. I just think it's funny that at the end of the show, they say make sure to catch Whoopi's and Joy's show "Girl Interrupted" and Sherri- it's good to have you back from your Madagascar premier, and Elisabeth- oh wait- she doesn't do ANYTHING! she has no talent! All she can do is introduce people and appear in magazines. Where's her true talent? She's like the Heidi Montag of The View! just sayin'
