Hating Hillary

Uh...
"like it's a horrible thing not to love Obama.
That attitude only makes me dislike him more."
I didn't say that was the ONLY reason, I said it was the only thing that bothered ME--you're more than entitled to hold any opinion and your criticisms are valid, even if I disagree.
And I didn't suggest you would take pleasure in seeing the Supreme Court wrecked--what I asked was is punishing Obama worth the Supreme Court?
And my tunnel vision shouldn't surprise you...you ain't new here!
I don't think you're hung up on Hillary or that you're racist. You just don't back the person I back is all.

You're right lil, I shouldn't have gotten so heated. That's why I'm staying away from these threads from now on. No one is going to change anyone's mind, so really, it's not worth fighting.
I loves ya'!

Posted: 5/28/08 at 12:32pmI'm just checking - is it OK for me to hate Bill Clinton? To me, he's been the loose cannon in this campaign.

taz! stop that kinda talk. don't you understand that like bammy, if you can only talk to the people with whom you disagree, you can change their minds. they will see the error of their ways and their rotten evil souls will be healed. like bammy will do to this cruel country of america. you must engage. it is your duty. besides, bammy will never let you go back to your old ways, uninformed and uninvolved like sheep. sheeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppp!!!!!!

If Obama is indeed the nominee, I will be voting for him while proudly wearing my rainbow Obama 08 pin that lil gave me.
What would be interesting is if Hillary ends up being the nominee, will certain people be able to hold their nose and vote for her for alllll the same reasons they expect taz and prs to vote for Obama?

"I told you I would vote for her if she's the nominee... "
I've also stated that I would vote for Hillary if she was the Democratic nominee. So where are all the Obama supporters that won't vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination? It seems to me that there are far more Hillary supporters who are saying that they would never vote for Obama. As I've stated previously, if you're a Hillary supporter and would vote for McCain before voting for Obama, then you obviously don't vote based on the issues. I'll just leave it there.

I don't recall naming names. It wasn't aimed at people who have already stated that they would vote for her.
It's aimed at those who are hating Hillary. Here. On YouTube. On Huffington Post. On college campuses. Wherever.
#46hating shrillary
Posted: 5/28/08 at 7:45pmAnd it's been my experience that there are just as many Obama haters as there are Hillary haters, if not more.

In the previous post, you essentially said there were more Obama haters.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to have a pissing contest between haters. I was trying to get people to think about what they would do/how they would feel if the shoes were reversed in juxtaposition to what they are asking Hillary supporters/Obama haters to do, etc.

There have been staggering amounts of misogyny. No one is saying that every insult or critique towards Clinton qualifies as such, but it's basically inarguable that the attacks have been rife with misogyny. It's hard for some people to discern because it's so deeply instilled in society, and subtle forms of misogyny are still fully accepted to most. Sometimes especially women.
It seems to me that there are far more Hillary supporters who are saying that they would never vote for Obama.
That has not been my experience. I socialize in a young and highly liberal circle, where Obama is favored 10 to 1. I support Hillary, but it was a close decision so I'll be happy to put my support towards Obama in the general election.
