Help! I Caught My Landlord in a Compromising Position With His Dog.

My wife and I live in a small apartment at the back of our landlords' lot. They are a sweet, retired couple who have been very kind to us. The back door of their house faces our front door, and we walk past it when we come and go. One morning we decided to take our dog on a quick walk before leaving for work, which we don't normally do. When we returned, as we came around the back of the landlords' house we caught the man with his pants down, apparently having sex with his dog. He very quickly stood up, pulled up his pants, and acted as if he was just tying his shoe or something. We said good morning and quickly scooted back into our house. My wife and I both asked what the other saw and we were in agreement that him having sex with the dog is what it was. Should we just move out quietly or stay and pretend nothing happened?
Frankly, I was jealous

Joe, don't blame your neighbor. Now that we are on the slippery-slope of working to legalize gay marriage he was just forced to do it; Obama gave him no choice to but to abandon his personal beliefs and join the hedonistic culture we are heading towards. Besides, that dog was just asking for it.

"You don't like me, do you Bob?"

It's nothing personal Joe, I certainly don't dislike you. I disagreed with you about Judy Garland more than anything about who gets to make the rules of what the meaning of "greatest" is which is a pet peeve of mine but that wasn't personal either. I do poke fun at things that I think are kind of silly. In this case, while I realize Off-topic is a place for anything, I can't imagine why you would want to share this story with everyone here. The things I find entertaining, amusing and humorous know few bounds but a story like this... eh, not so much.

It looked like, especially with your "I was jealous" comment that you had found a random entry on Slate and were making light of it. Are you involved in this or a situation like this directly and looking for advice?

This forum is a great place to turn when you have a problem.

1) What exactly is the problem?, 2) Not sure that a BWW message board is "letting you down" by not telling what to do about your dog-F*CKing-landlord.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

I love that people reply like this and wonder why people post things to illicit such delicious reactions, when they are the reason. Help! I Caught My Landlord in a Compromising Position With His Dog.

You could do some serious negotiation re: rent.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

"And some people post these ridiculous stories to try to elicit flights of creativity from his fellow posters"

And you thought a story about beastiality was the perfect way to do that. You should have said "And some people post these ridiculous stories because they have no life and have truly nothing better to do". I've reconsidered my answer to your question... you're a moron.

The real question is, was it consensual?

In the documentary film, HORSE, the horse involved was on top. Therefore, in my opinion, it wasn't animal abuse. As for the animal lover involved, well...he's dead from a perforated colon, but I don't think he should be held up to ridicule or condemned for his proclivities.

The letter about the man and his dog states that the couple agreed that they had both witnessed the man "having sex" with his dog. But, in this case, what exactly does "having sex" mean? The advice columnist assumes that the man was engaged in the act of intercourse with the pooch. But perhaps the hound was felating his master. If so, big difference, IMHO.
