Got a Call-Back for Footloose at my school. What happens during high school call backs? do they make you sing again? I have no idea.
You may want to post this on the student board...
When I did my internship at a highschool theatre department we did callbacks and the way we held them was if we had 2 actors going after one part, we had them sing the same song, read the same scene, etc and decide from there. They might pair you up with different partners etc.
Break a leg!
Depends on the teacher. You'll probably have to sing again. You might be given sides to read if you haven't done a straight acting audition yet. Maybe you'll be taught part of a different song from the show and be given some direction on what to do with it. It really depends on the teacher's methods and why they need a callback for that role.
You will be put into a wrestling ring along with everyone else auditioning for your part, and will be forced to fight until there is only one survivor...
One: Congrats.
Two: How could we possibly know how YOUR school/director runs callbacks. Why don't you ask someone AT your high school, they'd be able to tell you rather than conjecture.
At my callbacks the students learn a song from the show (all the same song, with different key options) and then read assigned scenes w/assigned partners.
We are not a big "dance" school, but some schools will also have you learn choreo. I would expect you will be there for some time.
