Posted: 11/30/11 at 11:38am...is tipping etiquette the unofficial topic of the off-topic board now?

Posted: 11/30/11 at 12:36pmI can't see tipping our postal person. There seems to be a different one every day and the service is bad. Maybe next year.

Posted: 11/30/11 at 12:52pmI'm with you, Stockard. That sounds way too complicated and expensive. I own a house and don't have to tip anyone...except waitstaff when I eat out. Plus, I work darn hard and nobody tips me. And I haven't seen a Christmas bonus since the 80s! I remember when it was standard for most middle class folks to get a week or two pay as a bonus. Now that's almost unheard of...Damn 1%!!!
