Isn't that part of our Gay agenda? It's been a while since I have read our manual but I think we are suppose to recruit children,least that is what I am told.

There was a time when I was teaching K-1, I wish I had the children's books about Gay couples and parents. During my days teaching (the late 70s) at this private school, I had three children whose parents were getting divorced because one parent came out and moved in with their lovers. The kids involved as well as their classmates had a lot of questions.
It is important to be able to have the tools available teach these life lessons when the need arises. It helps spread understanding and compassion.

in high school, i took a class on children's literature... it was like, how children's books have changed throughout the years, and how the content of the books changes with society's veiws on different issues... we had a bunch of books and we lined them up chronologically. two of the newest ones in the line were called "daddy's room mate" and "heather has two mommies"
later that year they were on the banned books list.

Do they teach heterosexual marriage in schools? If they do, then I don't see why they wouldn't teach homosexual marriage. If they don't, then I agree it shouldn't be taught.

I've never met anyone who was taught "who married who," regarding marriage in school.

But, of course now when it's convenient to lie, all of a sudden it becomes fact.

That commercial would seem so ignorant and primitive in Canada. I just can't wrap my mind around Americans behaving and thinking this way, I wanted to punch that woman from the video in her $#*@.

I was taught Sex Ed. for a week in the 6th grade. Never once was marriage ever mentioned.


Besides, everything they taught me has turned out to be wrong. I'm sure SOME people have sex like that. I don't.
