Has anyone seen this movie??
Would you recommend it?
I can't make up my mind whether I want to see it tonight or not.
Thanks!
Do you enjoy misogyny, homophobia and excessive amounts of gore?
Considering eli Roth's last film, "Cabin Fever", made me want to claw my eyes out due to the sheer desperation I was feeling to escape the theatre, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's stinky.
the only reason i loved hostel was to stare at jay hernandez beautiful face, luscious lips and pecs. when things started getting gory, they were just that: gory. but his presence more than made up for that crappy movie. i sure hope they paid him $$$$ for it.

Is it a good scare though?? Did it keep you on the edge of your seat??
Is that the one where people have been throwing up in theatres and stuff?

ewwww. I want to be scared but I don't wanna puke...I have a vomit phobia...
Haha, I once had a friend who claimed to have emetephobia, too, but I think she just wanted attention because nobody really does like vomit, do they?
I'm not sure if Hostel is the vomit one or not, though; I didn't check my sources.
yeah I think Hostel is the pukealicious one and from what I hear, Eli Roth has once again mistaken gore for scare as he did with that hopeless load of tripe that was Cabin Fever.
I never saw that one... when I hear Cabin Fever I think Muppet Treasure Island.

oh great..my boyfriend is all psyched about seeing this and now I am gonna puke cause I am nervous that the damn movie might actually make me puke..
aww, ****...here it comes...
I remember when I was in elementary school, if one kid puked the entire class was evacuated from the room becuase it would cause a chain reaction.
Ah, fun times...

hahaha..
I am so afraid of throwing up..I will fight it til the death!
When I student-taught, one of my 1st graders puked and I freaked and ran out of the classroom. I waited in the hallway for 10 minutes until the janitor showed up. I would pop my head in the door every few seconds, though, and ask the kids how they were doing. Amazingly, they were completely unfazed.
I just can't handle it.
Now, blood and guts..sure thing, no problem. I am a pro in any kind of accident situation.
But, if you puke, I just can't help you.
Sorry, guys. I really liked it. Updated On: 1/12/06 at 03:53 PM

Broadway86..no, don't be sorry...
I am seeing it tonight and just wanted to know if anyone liked it or not.
Thank you.
I thought it was horrible and wasn't scary in the least. The only thing it had was gore.
Just want to be clear on one thing: I didn't think this movie was "scary" per se (there are no extended chase scenes, etc.), but I thought it was very intense and utilized a very frightening situation to its fullest advantage.

ok...someone above said it was "homophobic"
why?? Simply because it didn't have gay scenes or are there homophobic overtones?
I didn't get a homophobic vibe from it. Sure, a couple of the characters said a certain 'f' word that I can't stand, but I hear a lot of people throwing that word around.

Is it bad that I throw that word around?
I think its okay.. kinda like when a black person says "n*".

Thanks. It's taken in LA back in November... I need to upload all the pics from Christmas in San Francisco, but haven't got around to it.
And your signature reminds me of TRICK.
