I can't wait until the s**t hits the fan over Cuddy keeping the patient's recovery a secret from House. I also found Foreman's argument with Cameron pretty interesting - he's always struck me as the most House-like of the 3 underlings, and it will be interesting to see how much further he goes in that direction.
i dont know if i like the new house. he was more fun on vicodin.

yeah i did see that
Gregory House, how I have missed you! *SPOILER ALERT*
The Good:
* Screen time for Cuddy and Wilson
* House running away from Cameron
* House running in general. Mr. Laurie looks quite nice when he's all sweaty
* House stealing Wilson's prescription pad to get himself Vicodin
The Bad:
* Wilson was pretty unlikable in this episode
* The suspension of belief required for the audience to think that House would ACTUALLY be able to talk to Cuddy while she's in her nighty without making any kind of sexual comment
* Cameron's bangs...did they eat her forehead??
* No Evil Nurse Brenda or Coma Guy
All in all, I was pleased. Can't wait to see where they go from here
BTW--televisionwithoutpity.com has already put up their mini recap of last night's episode. The full version should be up by next Monday.

House wasn't as witty in this episode, they've got to step that up a notch. Otherwise, I am so excited that the new season is here!!!
Now that our favorite doctor is back to popping Vicodin like candy, I figure it's only a matter of time before the wit returns.
I really want to see just how badly he's going to **** up Wilson and Cuddy when he finds out they lied to him.

I didn;t see the end of last season (and kicking myself for it) but I really liked it!
nothing going on with the nightie was a bit weird. bangs looked bad.
Wilson telling Cuddy at the end that House may be right and could be wrong at times was very powerful.
I must say I was crying when the guy stood up. very emotional.
*spoilers*
did you see scenes from next week? aliens? I don't want House to go Scifi on us. (though I don't it will).
overall, I love Hugh Laurie. with or without his British accent. and his blue eyes!
After last years' "House Vs. God" episode, where else did they have to go except aliens??

don't you mean "Jeeves and Wooster" with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry? Cause there is no "Bertie and Jeeves" show.

SPOILERS.
Wow, was Wilson a bastard in this episode. I was still with him as far as his schpiel about "the fifth level of happiness" (hee), but the ending was just...wrong. They've been letting House act on his hunches for 2 seasons; what's changed? It's an ugly thing to think, but it looks like he got special treatment not because of his brilliance, but because of his limp.
(And oh boy is the **** going to hit the fan about this one. Way to destroy the trust you built through the fertility shots and ketamine coma, Cuddy. Oy.)
Things I missed: The clinic and the inside-the-body CGI. Well, I didn't really miss the latter, but I noticed its absence. Maybe that's because House didn't get to be triumphant this time around?
To the person who missed Nurse Brenda- I saw a still from an upcoming episode, and she'll be there. I hope she becomes more of a recurring player, like Ted the Lawyer on Scrubs.
Cameron! Stop being annoying and eat a sandwich. I did like the role reversal with Foreman being happy to do House's busy work while Chase and Cameron moaned, though.
Anyone else find amusement in the new rooms they add to the hospital each season? I didn't know they had that balcony above the lobby! :P
Anyway, I guess this episode bugged me a bit because I could see the seams in the cowriting team. Wilson's philosophizing was pure Shore, and the ending was total Kaplow. Those two also happen to be my favorite and least favorite writers on the show, respectively, so...I had issues with the story. ANYWAY.
Jeeves and Wooster is a bit of a mixed bag as far as the scripts and supporting acting go, but Laurie is fantastic throughout. Nothing beats out Blackadder, though. "I hope this scum has not inconweenienced you."

I don't agree about the hunches. I believe that in the other two seasons, he had evidence to back up his "hunches." But like they said in this new episode, he didn't have evidence to back it up. Maybe it was because he wasn't on Vicodin that he couldn't think of a bit of evidence fast enough. Or maybe the authors couldn't think of an answer. Who knows.
And yes, Blackadder is the best. "Oh, I'm a b@stard son of a b!tch. Well you're a fornicating baboon. Yers, it's a bit hard to do it in this box." Love Blackadder. Only have the second season. need to get the rest. Love Baldrick. He's my favorite.
