I devoured this book in about three hours -- kept me busy on a flight to Las Vegas -- being a "theater geek" I found much of myself in many of the characters -- not sure that there is one in particular that is KMF....clearly some of Edward and some of Cheesehead is in me....
People on the plane kept asking what I was reading as the said "It is obvious you are enjoying the book"....so I hvae been telling anyone who will listen to go out an buy it -- I even held it up and told the 20 people I was training to run and buy it!

Awwww...KMF...I knew we were so much alike and that you would love this book as much as I did. The only part of Natie that I see in you is the schemeing and that you're brilliant like him.

I believe you do have to be 21. It's so much fun. You better be up with your showtunes..they play some from way back when..no "Wicked" or "Brooklyn" usually sung there.

They never gave me a problem and I was going there when I was 16 years old...but things were different back then...1976...ahhh, I remember it well.

LOL Barts !!! NO Pal..I'm Edward. What's funny is that my signature song is "Corner of the Sky" too. When my friends and me would go out to piano bars in the City they would all say "get up and sing Corner of the Sky". That song got me many parts I wanted in shows. I did however play John the Baptist/Judas in "Godspell" NOT Jesus. Although the director 2 weeks before the show begged me to take over the role of Jesus so that he could can the other guy, but I refused. I had the girlfriend through high-school too..although she was far from a cheerleader.

boobs... just wanted to say thanks for letting everyone know about this book. because of this thread, i bought the book, read it and absolutely LOVED it! i'm also stoked because this takes care of five people on my chrismas list. i'll just buy them copies of the book.
i relate closest to paula, but i have aspirations to become aunt glo when i'm senile.

fae..I'm glad you loved it as much as I did. I can't stop talking about this book to all of my friends. I have many friends who will also be receiving this for Christmas.

I was thinking we should have a night of singing at Marie's Chrisis...maybe we can convince Marc Acito to join us. He's coming into the City for a reading of the book...why not a little road tour for old times sake ?
