Oh god, I love this. Someone posted this last year and I thought it was fake. Apparently, it's not.

I can't believe that anyone on the face of the earth could be that much of an A-hole.

I love when he says he's going to "give her the opportunity" to go out with him.

Then I had to re-post this lovely message left by Faye Dunaway to a reporter...

Oh my gosh... if this is real...
This "Dmitri" character makes Warner from Legally Blonde look like great boyfriend material. And I personally would be very taken aback by Dmitri's approach.

And the part where he says her friends were all jealous that he approached HER......even though they may say they weren't.

All Dimitri needs is just a LITTLE self confidence. It's a shame that he's so shy.

"Yes, yes, please erase my number! I wish I could forget this!"
I've had men approach me like this, as if "this must be your luckiest day because I'm giving you the opportunity to go out with me".
What ever happened to the old "Hello, I met you the other day and would like to see you again. Would you like to go to (fill in the blank) "?

Dude,
Maybe she gave you her card just to get you to go away.
What a maroon.

My personal fave comes at the end when he's discussing mental disorders. And how it's ok if she hasn't called back because she has cancer or chemo.. NIIIIIICE

Try searching "Joe". IOW Dmitri is a very common name.

Oh, I know, I know. There were bajillions of results; I just picked the one that I felt best matched the spirit of the phone call.
Besides, our Dmitri did say he was Greek. He probably does have a resplendent Greek unibrow.

Wow, I knew a guy exactly like this. He chased me for about a year and I finally agreed to go out with him once out of sheer boredom. He then went on and on about how awesome and successful he was and how he's not actually gay, but he's bi. Apparently, he must have assumed "bi" meant "top" because he never spoke about any interest in women and he believed taking a sexually submissive role was unthinkable. He found it incomprehensible and at times, even inexcusible, that anyone would not be interested in his own interests. I never spoke to him again after that disaster. That guy had major issues of self-delusion and self-loathing. So did Andrew Cunanan, come to think of it...

I think I dated this guy in the early 90s.

Sounds like Mr. Ex Boyfriend has serious issues with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Which has a lot more to it that you'd think from the name alone. It's a pretty bizarre problem... and I had the fortune to end up "best friends" (in her words) with a girl who has it big-time. http://www.halcyon.com/jmashmun/npd/traits.html
