How can I legally watch HBO shows without subscribing?

Are there legal ways to watch HBO shows without subscribing? I'd like to pay individually for each episode I choose. I don't watch enough TV to justify a subscription, but there are always a few shows (usually gay-themed) that I would like to experience before the eventual Netflix release.

I have a Sonos system and a Blu Ray player, each with a $hitload of included streaming apps, but I haven't been able to find which, if any, enable me to watch HBO shows for a fee. Any advice?

You need to get someone to share the HBOGO login info with you. That's the only legal way.

I do know thrre is any sort of ay as you watch sort of thing. I've never heard of one, anyway.

Amazon Prime streams some of their shows, but not current seasons. At some point (by the premier of Game of Thrones in April) HBOGO is going to be available as a standalone subscrition.

Richard Plepler, CEO of HBO, gave his blessing for people to share HBOGo login and password information. That may change when the HBOGo streaming service is made available at some point soon. Contact your friends and family and see if they're willing to share that with you. It's how I've watched HBO for the last year or so.

Thanks for the info; you pointed me in the right direction. I see that HBOGO is available on my Apple TV. I just need to wait until they offer standalone subscriptions or to find a current subscriber who likes me and is willing to share.
