How old is too old for Annie?

What would you say your cut-off age for being too old to play Annie in "Annie"?

Depends on how old you look. But I don't know, a young looking 14 year old. but really probably like 16. Just depends how young you can play.

About five foot four.

Seriously, height would matter as would the aforementioned ascent into puberty.

The 'look' is also important, but use the old fading ingenue/juvenile trick and put a layer of rouge on first, lightly but definitely, and then apply your regular make up over that.

I did annie last year and our annie was 15 and about 5 feet. I was Warbucks and am about 6'2feet so it worked

My friend is 18 and she played Annie this past summer. Then again, she looks kinda young.

Annie is supposed to be anywhere from 9 to 12.

I did a national tour and saw a poster from Annie and Jen Cody was one of the orphans in the national tour-- in her 20's
