Posted: 8/15/08 at 8:34amTwo of mine go back the Wednesday after Labor Day. My oldest is already at college because she's on the soccer team and they're already in pre-season. Some states go back mid-August.

Haha, JUNIOR YEAR IS AWFUL. Just a friendly warning. There is no way to keep your grades from going down.
I would wake up every morning and think to myself "What fresh new hell lies in store for me today..."

i go back the 18th. craaaaaaaaaaap. west coast schools start earlier usually.
at least it's my senior year. and the first half of my day i am doing this awesome work-study bakery program. i get to spend my mornings decorating cakes! haha.
but yeah, junior year is the worst.

They went last week here, which is suprising because we wouldn't go back unti the last week of August when I was in high school.
And for the first couple of weeks, we would have to be let out early because our brick hotbox of a school didn't have air conditioning.

My move in date is September 3rd. First day of classes for my freshman year of college start the next day.
Wow, I can't believe I am going to be a freshman in college. Freshman year of high school felt like it was just yesterday. It's okay I am glad that I am out of high school because I HATED high school with a passion.

Can I just say one thing? Can I just say AP Statistics is like the most boring thing that was ever invented? I would just like sit there and doodle and dream about buying accessories at Claire's. Barrettes and scrunchies and then the next thing I knew I was a little behind. So anyways I finish summer school AP Statistics next Friday and then I have exactly four whopping days off and then LOOK OUT WORLD I'M A SENIOR!
Can I just say one thing though? That thought makes me excited and scared. Because when my birthday comes this fall I will be 5.88235294 of a century OLD! Can I just say that is frightening to me.

the eq theatre here is on a campus, and of course they pick today to hold their season auditions. and it just happens to be move into the dorm day. I was stuck in "parents unloading all their kid's stuff" traffic for 2 hrs. I think every cop in town was directing load-in parking at the dorms.
the public school kids went back last monday.
