It was a little awkward at dinner tonight...one of my friends (who I've only hung out with a few times) hung out with one of my best friends Jenny and me...and he made things kinda awkward sometimes.
Hm.
So, that wasn't really bad luck, but that's about as bad as my day got.
Did anything happen to you (bad-luck-wise)?

I didn't even notice that today was Friday the 13th.
I knew it was Friday.
I knew it was the 13th, but now is when I am putting "two and two together"
Fri.13 AND full moon. And yes, I happened to have had to run into the two people in NY who are werewolves today.

I think almost all of you know it was great.
But no bad luck for me!

Oh my god, I just walked Jenny out to her car--didn't even write about this--and it was so pretty out! 100% clear skies--the moon actually lit the ground. You could see the stars--and that's very rare because we're about a mile or 2 from downtown Dallas, so there's a TON of city lights. It's SO pretty out!

I didn't remember that it was Friday the thirteenth until about 10:00 am. I got my hand caught in a gate this morning but otherwise, it was a normal day.
I had a lovely day. I had told the father of one of my students last week while we were at CompUSA that I was planning on buying myself an iPod for my birthday(Which is the 30th.) I have always wanted one. Today he called and said, "So, I am thinking of getting my wife an iPod. Which one were you wanting?" I told him I wanted Video iPod. Then he said, "Would you need the 30GB or 60?" I said the 30 would be fine for what I wanted. Then it occured to me that his wife already has one. Then he asked, "Hmmm, which color do you like better?" I said, "Wait...Do NOT get me an Ipod!" He just laughed. YAY!!! They are TOTALLY getting me an ipod! So, I had a good day.

My day was pretty awesome. Opening night for my show was FANTASTIC! People were saying it was the best show my theatre company had done in a long time. And the director told me I was the best dancer in the opening number which more than made my day because I am an awful dancer usually. Pretty good day!
i was called to sub... then i met a myspace friend for the 1st time and hung out with him for the rest of the day. it was great!

Wait a minute-
Jersey- You are telling me that the father of a student that you teach is buying you an Ipod?
You have got to be kidding me!!
My friday the 13th was horrible. I've been insanely sick the last few days and yesterday was the worst. Migraine, sore throat, and cold sweats like crazy. I feel like crap.

I had to take my last major test test for the semster. cause next weeks are finals...so ah!
Had rehersals and work (both of which sucked), came home, ate dinner, watched the Baz Luhrmann dvd of La Boheme.
Then I went to my friend's house and got very drunk, watched scary movies, and played fun party games. I think the best part was when my friend got plastered and started singing "Over the Rainbow" with a cupcake in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Or else when he fell over on his way to the ashtray and yelled, "Mama needs her cigarettes!" One of the two.

oh I forgot! We had our first rehersal for Into the Woods. It was fun but me and my sister kept having to carry the alto section all night so that kept getting kinda annoying

Pretty suckish. As a day, not that bad.
I had 3 huge tests. 2 essays and 1 english test about Much Ado About Nothing. (They were all back to back, too.
SweetQ:
I only work with a few students and his son is the one I work with for several hours every day. He is also the reason that I moved to New Jersey in the first place, so I could work with him one on one. For Christmas they got me a first class round trip ticket to visit my family for 10 days. I think they feel like they need to help me out since I took a MAJOR pay cut and the cost of living is so much higher. But they are so wonderful. I had dinner with them last night. Eh, we'll see what happens.
Well, my day was very weird, as some of you may know. I stuck my foot in my mouth, big time, in a certain thread. However, my night was much better. I went out with a bunch of friends. Everybody but the designated drivers (which are crucial people, never leave home without them) got very drunk and ended up crashing at my place. In fact, three of them are still here, passed out, in various rooms. Good times!
I forgot it was the 13th yesterday.
At the last Friday the 13th in May, I had the weirdest day ever!
Well, Bobby, are you just gonna leave us hanging?
It was pretty good.
I had a great review at work, a decent raise by most standards, a generous raise by my company standards (cheap bastards), and got two of my software contracts completed.
One of the only real criticism in my review is my apparent lack of respect for some of the corporate policies enacted by senior management of the company that acquired us - hmmm, I guess calling them cheap bastards kind of validates that one, doesn't it. . .
And, we get Monday off - not too Schabbbyy.

It was a lot of fun actually. I watched Saw II with my friends, went to Barnes & Nobles, and got to eat breakfast at Denny's at midnight... I spilt water all over myself though, is that bad luck?
My day was also fabulous...work was smooth, I saw a beautiful piece of theatre with a dear BWW friend, and then said friend and I commenced a LOVELY evening of cocktails, conversation, and boywatching.
Very cool. We did our first complete run-through of Titanic-The Musical. It went really well. We open two weeks from yesterday.

My day was fine until i played a basketball game against our new found school rivals. We lost, which wasn't so much bad luck as having two players on ski trips, and it was a brutal game. i mean if we were guys and wearing shoulder pads you might have thought we were playing football. there is this girl on the other team who has the boniest elbows EVER, and naturally i got stuck guarding her. at one point i dove after the ball which resulted in a bruised elbow, but that was the only bruise i thought i got. anywho it's not because theres this one spot on my back that kills every time i touch it, so i'm assuming it's a bruise. yep. that was boring. back to term paper.
