Privacy for All

Jose, I stand by all of my words.

I would not post something that I wouldn't say in person to someone. Full disclosure.

And, again, it's not about sexuality.
Originally I stated my disgust over the swipe taken at Mr. Jackman's wife, which was totally unnecessary.
Then I tried to state my opinion about matters of privacy.
Some of it was wrapped up in questions about the activities of the gay community.
But none of it was about sexuality.

Nicole won't talk about Tom because he's...oh never mind. If celebrities want privacy, they should find different careers. As long as the press stays within the law, celebrities are fair game.

Hi, my name is Chance Hamlin, I'm a junior at Hofstra University. I was born in Kanas City, Missouri, to Deborah Jean and Billy Keith Hamlin. We lived in KC, Kansas until I was almost 2. Then we moved to Plcentia (not sure on the spelling) California. My father quickly moved up the ladder at Home Depot and we Moved into a larger house in Coto De Caza near Mission Veijo. My parents got divorced when i was 6-ish, my mother, my grandmother and i moved to to anotther house in the same Gated Community where we lived for another year and a half or so. We then moved north to a Suburb of Portland, Oregon. WE lived there for roughly 11 years, when we moved to another suburb of Portland. i atteneded Mount Scott Elementary school, followed by Sunrise Middle School, and finally Central Catholic High School.

Can i talk about gay celebrities now?

After my father's first marriage (and three children), he had a vasectomy. Well, after he married my mother, her wanting a child, he had a reverse vasectomy. They don't always work, so it wasn't positive that they could get pregnant. Thus, Chance. Had I been a girl, I would have been Hope.

Addy, don't take offense. My comment was not directed to you personally.

It was a general statement to the effect that it is rather silly for all this talk about privacy (to expose/not to expose) from a group of people who hide behind false personas.

One's sexuality, or anything else for that matter, is one's own business, in my opinion. Whether one is a celebrity or not.

Would anyone care if a Nobel Prize winning physicist is gay or not? I doubt it. And it doesn't matter if he or she is homosexual.

Who created the law that if you're in the public eye your sexual preferences must be announced and made known to any and everyone?

Rhetorical questions, everyone. Off to bed.

I am confused now....

Time for me to go to bed.

Jose - I didn't take it personally. I was simply responding.

I don't hide behind a false persona. I simply have a 'username' which is not my own.

And, I completely agree that one's sexuality is one's own business.
And it doesn't matter.

That was my point.
