Starbucks is not bringing back my favorite slice of heaven, the Maple Streusel Muffin (please note that any spelling mistakes are due to my rage).
I want to throw my Grande Americano at them.

I had heard you always swallowed
That is high risk activity, Taz.

Too icky for my delicate palatte.
Try KY...works better than spit.
"If it ain't spit, it ain't love"
How can you people not take my plight seriously???
Did you not HAVE the Maple Streusel muffin last year?
This year...we're stuck with Pumpkin Cheesecake or something equally squishy and nasty.
But the play between the sweet, sweet maple and the crunchy, crumbly streusel...it can't be described!
robbie, they are also (apparently) NOT bringing back the cherry donut that I love so much. I was just getting over that until your post reminded me...ARRGH
I've had just about enough pumpkin/cream cheese muffin bashing from you, young lady!
I actually can relate robbie. I got very attatched to a certain scent at the Bath & Bodyworks only to have it discontinued.
They didn't even replace it with any good alternatives.

They stopped serving the Eggs Florentine sandwich at the one in my office building. I'm probably better off calorie-wise, but my mornings are now just a little more gloomy.
Oh Taz, I hear you.
The Body Shop used to have the best bronzing cream. It was immediate and gave you just a delicious little glow without the Michael Kors Radioactive look.
Now, the sell this new sh*t that you have to apply and apply. I do not wish to work that hard or be that committed to color enhancement.
And Cal, I totally spit pumpkincheeseygoo at you!
Robbie, you just gave me a heart attack.
Why?
I scoff at your spit, as it only makes me smell like nutmeg all the day long.
Abercrombie stopped making WOODS..one of my favorite colognes...I feel your pain Robbie.
Nutmeg and my hatred, you slattern!
That's very Jewy of you. Since being with my own Pocket Jew, I've learned to stop fighting and love the streusel.
I was very miffed this year when Dunkin' Donuts deep-sixed the annual appearance of the Lemon Burst specialty donut.
And then I realized it probably saved me from packing on a extra five pounds. But damn they were good.
I'm also deeply paranoid that the Blueberry flavored coffee schmutz I love so dearly is about to disappear forever. I buy cartons at a time just try to trick them into thinking it's a big seller. Sounds awful, I know....but it is surprisingly wonderful.
Though the idea of blueberry coffee makes me want to spit at Calvin some more, I fully support your crusade in buying up every last drop.
These people are so mean. They get us hooked. Then refuse to deliver.
Just like this one guy I went to college with. He wouldn't...well...never mind.
robbie, they are also (apparently) NOT bringing back the cherry donut that I love so much.
What! Forget about the damn maple muffin! THAT is a crime. *bursts into tears*
soap! You KNOW about the cherry donut???
I had only seen them in So Cal, and when in Washington last week they looked at me like I was nuts in their stores.
Then someone told me it was seasonal, and then a store in Long Beach said they probably won't bring it back. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, finally something I liked that was not chocolate. I am crushed.

Kiehl's dropped their Sportif bath and shower gel the month after I discovered it.
I never tried that muffin, robbie, and now I realize I am probably glad. I wouldn't want to share your heartbreak. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Starbucks will manage to offend everyone, eventually.
The pumpkin cheesecake muffin is GOOD. I mean, it's filled w/ cream cheese frosting - what's not to love?
I hope they never discontinue the gingerbread syrup.
They have all these strange, experimental pastries now. They change every month or so in the location I go to. One of the staffers there told me not to try any of them, and to stick to my favourite- the toffee almond bar.
