The sweet braid introduced this summer is really quite tasty! I feel very von Trapp eating it. It's like biting into Gretl's head.

I just find the cream cheeseyness of the pumpkin muffin too much. The maple streusel had subtlety, with gentle hints of cinnamon. It was like getting a reach-around from a maple tree. Just heaven.

First of all, don't spit on the subway, I believe the fine is hefty.

You mention the von Trapps, so I wanted to point out that one of the original vT kids passed away very recently...the one on whom Kurt was based passed away at age 91.

I really can't find any of their pastries appetizing after working there. Too much thawing-out and marking-out and re-putting-out for me. I just don't feel like they're fresh. The toffee almond bar is pretty tasty, though.

Hello, all.

I just wanted to pass along a little tip for the holiday season that was nearly ruined for me by the disappearance of the glorious maple streusel muffin.

I would like to humbly recommend to you all the gooey confection released by Starbucks just in time for the holidays known as the Sticky Toffee Nut Coffee Cake. Sure it's 410 calories, 19 grams of fat per slice. But DAMN IS IT TASTY!!!

for the record robbie is in a committed relationship with a wonderful man and despite their longtime status they still practice safe sex and robbie has not engaged in such unsafe practices since a wildly misspent youth involving circus ponies, dwarves and hundreds of chocolate lawn jockeys (real chocolate, not just painted brown, thank you very much).
