Maisie- It was good I think. We had a great conversation. He spent a lot of time looking or not at me. In the past I've assumed that was because they're not attracted. But the some people aren't super comfortable with direct eye contact all the time. He asked me a lot of questions and I felt like I was talking too much, but he definitely got to talk and I asked him a lot of questions. If felt comfortable, but I usually do feel comfortable with people.

Sooooo we'll see. He said im me and then threw in or call me at the end. We haven't really talked on the phone much, so him saying I'll call you might have been a little weird anyway. I'm just not really sure how to assess it.

I woudln't be shocked if he disappears, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we keep talking.

Last night’s concert was AMAZING! Missy was so cute and funny! And her vocals were absolutely flawless. I was especially impressed because she said she was only on about four hours of sleep. Something she did that was very interesting was she’d like, give us a hint as to what the next song would be for the first few songs. For the first song she just kind of hummed the melody into the mic and then she started playing it full out with her guitar. Then the next one she had a xylophone that she plunked out the melody, then started playing it. She kept doing that for the first 4 or 5 songs and it was really cool! I’d never seen anything like it before!

Oh and Speller, me and my friend LOVED LENKA! We’re gonna buy her cd! She even played part of her song with a kazoo which was really cool. And she was sooo cute! (Tofu, you would have loved her)



But I was super disappointed with the second opener, Justin Nozuka. The entire crowd was in love with him though! We just didn’t get it. He was amazingly whiny and I couldn’t understand a word he said. Also he changed his guitar every single song, but I kept laughing because every song still sounded exactly the same! The only thing I did like was his speaking voice cause it was really sexy and kind of raspy, but then my friend pointed out it probably sounded that way cause he was singing incorrectly haha.

Wellll that’s my recap of the night, I have some videos and a bunch of pictures that I’ll be sorting through when I get home from work tonight!

BB, I'm glad you had such an awesome time last night. And I completely agree about Justin. Sometimes I scour the internet for new artists and I stumbled upon him almost a year ago. I listened to HALF of one song and said "WTF is this? They're just giving away recording contracts now?!" He really isn't all that good. But I have heard of Lenka before and I think she's super cute.
